    “The view & location were amazing !!! Pierfrancesco was extremely helpful! He gave all the information (including videos) of where to park your car (not permitted in the town), how to get to the property, restaurant recommendations, info about activities to do & things to see. Ask him about his e-bike tour….it’s fantastic!!!!! Would highly recommend staying & going for a pedal & of course ziplining.”

    “Staff was helpful and provided good instruction on how to access the place since Matera can be a bit difficult to navigate. The place looks exactly like the photos - beautiful and clean. It is not far from the main square but it’s very quiet at night. The breakfast provided was great as well. Overall great experience and would highly recommend.”

    “Castelmezzano was our last stop in our southern Italy roadtrip. We stayed in la casa nel verde and it was the best ending to our trip. The place was authentic, the hosts really welcoming and helpful and the room super clean and comfortable. They even baked us a homemade cake and we had the chance to have coffee and cake in the terrace enjoying the mountain view. Wish we could stay longer! If we come back to Castelmezzano, we're definitely staying there again.”

    “Everything. The host is exceptionally nice. What a lovely place. Each thing has been curated Very thoughtfully. Had an espresso machine with biscuits, bread with different variety of jams, free wine and water. The room was clean with top grade amenities, from towels to toiletries. The host explained and shared all details about tours and restaurants to dine at. She even dropped me to the bus station on the final day. So very sweet of her. Felt like a home. Very centrally located so you could walk comfortably in any direction. Loved my stay. Would highly recommend.”
