    “Beautiful, historic ‘cave’ apartment in the historic city of Matera. Lovely big space with everything you could possibly need for your stay and unexpected extras. Location is fantastic- especially for catching the extremely convenient shuttle bus in and out of the historic area to the modern part of town where the car was parked. Left the car on the street in a free parking area- was no problem, and steps from the shuttle bus service.”

    “I travel a lot and have seen and stayed in many places, but I can say that staying at Anna’s place is truly something special. The location of the apartment is perfect for exploring Matera, as it is right next to the Sassi. The entire apartment is beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated. Breakfast (cupcakes, coffee, tea, juice, and water) was also provided, which was a lovely touch. Communication with the host, Anna, was excellent, she is very attentive and genuinely cares about making your stay as comfortable as possible. If you are still hesitating, trust me - choose this place. It will make your stay in magical Matera even more unforgettable.”

    “Amazing property and host, it was very clean and well furnished. The host welcomed us personally and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and bars, which made our experience even better. The apartment is a very short walk from the old town. Local shops for groceries, fruit, pastry and coffee are a few minutes walk away. Free parking in front of the house.”

    “Our host, Eustachio, warmly welcomed us on arrival, making sure our car was securely parked and giving us a tour of the beautifully renovated home. Modern and tastefully decorated, it was perfect for our group of 4. The table was set for us with a choice of amazing fresh pastries and quiches from the local bakery, such a treat as we had travelled all day to Matera! Perfectly located with views across the valley and a short walk to the Sassi and local restaurants. Eustachio gave us a list of his favourite eating places, we tried 2 of them and both amazing! Highly recommended!”
