  • Maison Georges Couthon Review score: 10

“It’s a beautiful historic house in the old town. Fully refurbished with nice decoration. The hostess is really kind and helpful. It cannot be better than that.”

  • Relais des castors Review score: 8

“Lovely place with friendly helpful staff. Great view over town from my window. Kitchen you can use. Not luxury but everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable stay at the heart of a great little town.”

  • Atelier St Jean Review score: 10

“From the moment we were greeted by Sam, everything was first class and nothing was too much trouble. Such a warm welcome! The accommodation was superb and to a very high standard! We loved everything about it, and the icing on the cake was the breakfast, absolutely amazing. Atelier St Jean deserves 5 + stars. Outstanding, and we will return. Thank you Sam for taking such great care of us.”

  • La Maison Normande Review score: 9

“Mathieu and Thierry gave us a warm welcome and were pleasant and attentive throughout our stay, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The property is located in a small, quiet hamlet, with good views all round of the attractive, wooded valley it's in. This period house is tastefully modernised inside, really lovely and kept spotlessly clean throughout. Our room was very comfortable and we slept well. The food was very good and the table d'hôte meal we had on one of the evenings was delicious. This B&B offers good value for money and we would happily stay again.”

  • Le Bouffadou Review score: 10

“If you want a pure traditional French stay surrounded by everyone smiling then you must visit Le Bouffadou. A comfortable, clean room with a bar and restaurant opposite…what more do you need? If that’s set in a stunning area with amazing views in each direction then it has that also.”

  • “wonderful atmosphere in the old convent. Smell of baking bread as you arrive which you have for breakfast in th morning. Ideal location next to the Cathedral and near Rocher St Michel. Simple but very comfortable rooms.”

  • Villa Colombier Review score: 8

“Friendly team to greet you and helped us booking a restaurant that night in the village. Quirky cool furniture and decor with lovely little touches.”

The hosts are very welcoming, the atmosphere is relaxing and the evening meal was delicious made with fresh ingredients. Great breakfast too, I particularly enjoyed the homemade yoghurt.”
