“Hotel Rabin Itzam is more than just a hotel… it’s a magical place that you quickly begin to treat like your own home. Perfectly located in the heart of town, it offers easy access to restaurants, cafés, shops, and all local activities. The property features well-equipped rooms, designed in a simple yet elegant style, ensuring comfort and a restful stay. There is also a beautiful garden where you can relax after a full day of exploring.
The hotel staff is simply incredible. From the very beginning of my stay, they took care of me and made sure I felt comfortable. These are people with big hearts who will help you in any situation. I wholeheartedly recommend this place – I will definitely be back.”
“It had a lovely vibe and the location was great. The facilities were great - nice shower and clean rooms. We would really recommend the tour with Mary’s son, it was such a fun day and he was a joy to be around.”
“Superb view, lovely food and friendly, helpful hosts. The cabin is perfect. The add ons.... chocolate tour and meal with local family are fabulous value for money.”
“I loved how luxurious the outside of the hostel felt with a beautiful pool and jacuzzi and loads of hammocks and greenery everywhere.
The staff were friendly and funny and helped when we needed it.
It was so close to Semuc champey and they provided transport to and from Lanquin on arrive and exit.
They had so many animals!”
“Otto and the family made us very welcome and kept us well fed and very happy in the bar, lots of rum and cokes!
It is a very relaxing stopping point for travelling between Antigua and Tikal.”
“Mary and Luis have hearts of gold and staying in their family hotel while in Languin was the best choice I made. The place is quiet and relaxing, the facilities clean. The room has two fans although I didn’t even need to use them overnight when the temperatures cooled down a bit. Pick up and drop off at the bus station is a massive help. Towel and shampoo provided. There’s a fridge and a microwave for guest use and a little shop for drinks and snacks. It’s only a 5-min walk from where the trucks to Semuc leave.”
