    “There was a nice space near the forest, which we liked and had a meal there on the table. We also liked that there was pumpkin spice syrup in the coffee section in the office. The laundry section was 24/7, although we didn’t have time to use it. We liked that there was a toaster.”

    “We accidentally left four jackets in our room and drove home without noticing. The hotel kindly contacted us to let us know, and although we were already too far away to return, the staff arranged to send them to us by mail. We cannot thank them enough for their kindness and excellent service. At check-in, the staff kindly gave our two children beaver stuffed animals. They absolutely loved them and have been sleeping with them not only during our stay but also after we returned home. When we mentioned this at check-out, the staff gave each of them a goody bag. We have never experienced such thoughtful hospitality before.”

    “Great location to get to Acadia and Bar Harbor, also very, very close to great food spot: Bar Harbor Lobster Pound. Swimming pool was clean and cozy and room was exactly what you would expect and clean. What was amazing is how Staff helped us get back our son's stuffed dinosaur toy which we have left in the room. They wrote to us as soon as they found it and since we were already 2h away they have sent it to our next hotel. But it did not end there- the packaged came full of surprises- including picture story of what the dinosaur was doing while he was on a small vacation without his owner- it was truly lovely and made all of us- especially our son- laugh.”
