There is honestly nothing negative to mention. Everything was perfect, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lagos.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Mar Azul. The room was extremely clean, spacious, and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the compact kitchen, which made it convenient to prepare light meals. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, which really added to the experience. The room also had a private outdoor area — a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast in the morning. The location is excellent, just a short distance from both the historic center of Lagos and the beach. For those renting a car to explore the Algarve, the hotel’s parking facilities are a huge plus. There is honestly nothing negative to mention. Everything was perfect, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lagos.

Their main office is on a different site but you can call. However, It would be nice to know that beforehand. We wanted to extend our stay, spoke to customer service and agreed the extension and were told we can go anytime before our check-out time to make the payment. We then got a call in the morning just and were told that they had not secured the booking and someone else has also booked the accommodation and had to leave. This meant that we had to change our activities, find alternative accommodation which cost us double the amount as it was for the same day etc. They also offered us to move to another property on another site which cost significantly more. That ruined a good stay and left us really disappointed and

Location was within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Parking easy and right outside the building. Building was quiet, clean and had the pool to ourselves!

There was a persistent background noise from the phone and fridge, which affected our rest. The kitchen was well-equipped with utensils and cabinetry, but lacked essentials such as coffee or basic spices for a short stay. Parking was supposed to be reserved for hotel guests, but it was always full, and we had to park outside the property.

We had a wonderful holiday and really enjoyed settling in for three relaxing days after travelling along the coast. The great location, the proximity to the beach, just a short walk away, spacious room with high ceilings and a large, comfortable bathroom, charming character made for a very pleasant stay overall.

The bathtub-shower was to small, there is plenty room to make a big walk-in shower😉 In the kitchen there could be bigger drinking glasses.

The staff and especially the cleaners were extra nice. Big and comfortable room and cozy bed. Beautiful garden and nice sun loungers. 3 minute walk to a great beach.

Maybe the distance from town, but that is also a good thing, as the apartment location is quiet and peaceful.

The spacious studio apartment was extremely comfortable, quiet, and clean. The balcony was a beautiful place to have coffee or an evening cocktail, with the mature landscaping all around the property adding to the beauty. The beach was just a short walk away, along with several restaurants. We dined at Campimor, and highly recommend it for seafood and ambience. It is right on the beach. A bus stop is also here, for travel into Lagos. Or, a car is helpful in this area as well.

Is slightly outside of the city therefore it’s easier to get around with a car

It was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and that, along with the cute balcony, made home-breakfasts extra nice. There is also a sauna and pool (although at a different location) available. Very close to the beach as well

Not meant as a complaint, but it would be helpful to have some basics in the room like salt, pepper & sugar.

We spent a week here and it was perfect. The room was so nice, and we loved having the little balcony. Easy walk to a beautiful beach. We liked that it was out of town a little. It took us about 25 minutes to walk to Old Town, so it was a very quiet area. Lovely little coffee shop about 2-3 minute walk away and supermarket about 15 mins. Staff were exceptional.

The villa is not really walking distance to Lagos. Uber is only £4.50 so not an issue. However, the nearest shop is about a 20mins walk so getting supplies has to be planned out.

Had a real retreat real when returning from beach days. Location is perfect for the lesser used beaches.

The bed was a little uncomfortable and the kitchen could be better well stocked. They also could have lights around the property at night.

Its location is amazing right next to a beautiful beach. Quiet safe neighbourhood with groceries nearby. The room itself was huge and a beautiful bathroom. Comes with a nice terrace and a great pool. Quiet and comfortable. Great value.

maybe a bit far from the center but on the other hand we drove around by car and the beach was just some minutes to walk.

we liked the room and the view - we had a room with balcony with the view to the ocean, residential area and our pool. the room was spacious with good planning. well equipped and we enjoyed being there 3 nights. the stuff was really helpful and polite. free parking was necessary for us.
