There is no parking place (there is one but it's booked all the time by someone living there) so you will have to leave your car on the steep street

I really liked the view from the window and from the terrace, the kitchen was clean and big, every room has a place in the fridge to leave some kitchen stuff, the room was clean and the apartment owner is super nice! It's close to the airport and to Funchal, the room was modern and comfortable for 2 people, we spent there 2 nights only

Very cosy and nice apartment with excellent view on Machico, modern and new kitchen in wooden style, to be shared with another apartment. You find everything for a perfect stay. Its close to the airport. The host Fatima is very kind and friendly. This apartment can be recommend 100%! I felt very well there and would come back at any time to explore more of Madeira!

The apartment is gorgeous and spotless clean. The host is very available, responsive, friendly and welcoming. Check in is completely seamless. The property has a beautiful, sizable garden with a great view of the town and ocean. My partner and I absolutely loved our stay in this property because of all the attention to detail that the host put towards the furnishing and decoration of the apartment, which is a rarity. Some places are furnished expensively but in an impersonal and cold style, but this one is truly someone's home, with great character, that the host is sharing with you.

The doors are very very loud, so you can hear the neighbors from the other room. You have to park on the street, there was no free parking spot in front of the house.

The view is awesome! Fatima is very kind and helpful. The bathroom is big!

Fátima's place is really cute and feels very homey from the minute you enter. Everything was really clean and smelled great. The outside area is super lovely and has a great view of Machico, the kitchen is super large and there is loads of room to store all your food. On top of that Fátima is just the nicest person! The room is rather small but the big outside and common area make up for it.

The only thing we would change is the size of the bed. It was a bit narrower than we are used to.

The accomodation was luxurious and the homeowner Fátima was really nice and willing to help us with everything we needed.

My girlfriend and I had an absolutely wonderful stay! We can’t thank Fàtima enough for her kind hospitality. The view from the garden is amazing and it is so lovely to read a book in with a drink once you return home. Outdoor shower is brilliant for after the beach! The fruit trees in the garden were amazing - a calming oasis above Machico. The room and communal area were spotless and we loved coming back to the house in the evenings and cooking. The house was so nice we almost didn’t want to go out! Absolutely loved our stay and would return.

The property is half way up a steep slope. Not unusual for Madeira. This could be problematic for anyone with walking disability or impairment and who is without a car. Basically its a question of fitness. Mind you I am 71 year old and I did manage to walk up and down the hill on several successive days Please note that it is NOT a criticism, just an observation that is highlighted here and does not detract from an overall excellent experience

Fátima was an exceptional hostess : the sweetest and most helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean, and we had all the equipment we needed : clean towels, additional blankets, handsoap, available wardrobe,… The room had an amazing view on the town and access to a very cute garden. We had access to a very well organized and equipped kitchen, along with a laundry room. I would recommend this location 100% : the hostess was very responsive and always attentive to our needs. Above the city you sometimes can hear dog barks from a dog pound in the early morning or late at night. But it was not such an issue what will rob your sleep. Only a bit annoying...

This location is perfect to explore the whole island. The appartment is very new, comfortable and spacious as well. Fatima and her family are very friendly people and are super nice hosts. If we come back to the island we would book the apartment again!
