Bed/mattress could be better, and could also have a summer duvet to make it comfier. Coffee could be better.

We did not like at all that we have to preadvise what time on intervals of 30' minutes of Breakfast, and/or Dinner. The Breakfast was just limited ordinary and some times not even. The one time that we tried the dinner, because that we were late on appointment, there was not available a dish that we order. Distance from the center and the final pathway to the Hotel.

Our bedroom was a bit rundown, and it seemed it was not used for a while, a bit dirty. The floors had dog hair and bathroom not well cleaned.

The location was super calm! Delicious breakfast! Very pleasant staff!

There were not many other guests at the time, with lots of empty cabins, but we were placed next door to other guests and as others have mentioned the soundproofing between cabins is not good inside and on the terrace. No privacy in the bathroom as there is no door - it is just behind a wall within the room. €25 charge for a dog to stay in the room is excessive and was not shown on the booking page. This was annoying as it was a last minute booking that could not be cancelled without losing the full cost. We were upset to see that the owners have made attempts to stop the Swallows nesting under the roof eves. This is marketed as a country hotel, boasting about its environmental credentials. Also with an infinity swimming pool that is very wasteful of water with evaporation - too cold to swim in and no cover, but at least the birds were able to drink from it.

- sound of other guests can be heard easily across accommodations - more soundproofing is definitely required for a property of this price - headboard had stains, room had several chips of paint off in different places, door had a small dent and cork floor was stained near the mini bar - road to property is horrible, full of holes, which damages cars - breakfast does not have much variety - pool was dirty and had lots of leaves inside it - staff at the reception did not seem to be very confident of what they were doing so need more training, but Monique at the restaurant was great - pool shower was way too close to the sun-beds, which I am pretty sure are not sufficient when the property is at capacity (which was not the case during my stay)

A kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room would be appreciated.

This is a very relaxing hotel to escape to the countryside. The setting is superb and the rooms have outstanding views of the countryside and wildlife. The staff are very welcoming and keen to make sure you enjoy your stay. The dinner was fantastic, although regrettably, after a delicious main course I couldn’t finish the chocolate mouse which was beautifully rich and quite large.

If restaurant service was improved, not.upon booking and more accessible, it would be great. Hotel is more directed to couples/adults, however for a nights stay it was OK with child.

Pool is ice cold. Not fun at all - unpleasant. They could easily use solar panels to to heat it etc. I won’t recommend the place bcs of this. The hotel also needs to pay more attention to details. Some parts are run down. Regular and proper maintenance would do good!

We could hear everything from the other rooms. There was no noise cancellation/isolation between the rooms. For the rest, we had a great experience.

We really enjoyed the full experience from the hotel. Everything was amazing, the hotel was beautiful, staff were wonderful and the room was great. Hotel has great amenities and the restaurant is amazing as well. Food options were great and the restaurant staff were exceptional.

If you have noisy neighbours - watching TV late night with high volume - your sleep may be impacted. Sound isolation is not tremendous.

We did like a lot the concept of the room being built into a small house, having a saddle roof directly reflected in a high aery ceiling of the same form. Bathroom is nicely and neatly integrated in the room.

We arrived during a very wet and rainy period. The first room we were showed to had a small flood so we were allocated another room. This also had a bit of a damp patch near front door. Think it’s a fault in the design of the rooms as there is no guttering to channel water away.

Fabulous breakfast and evening meal. Doggie exercise/agility area. Would love to visit in sunnier weather as pool looks amazing.

The room had some maintenance issues that required attention. I found the pool area overcrowding.

A calm desert oasis - the pool area is a big draw are. Fantastic for a break from the city. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent!
