Awesome little treehouse in a magical forest owned by amazing people.It includes a mini kitchenette and all the necessities to feel at home. The treehouses are located close to the habitat of wild horses and the mountain is just 20-30 minutes away so you can hike up very easily ( mild fitness required). Also the owners are highly responsive and provide a platter and wine at a small cost which adds value to your stay. Very highly recommended! ❤️ Obrigada Karina and Juan

Beautiful location overlooking the valley and river. Very quiet in the woods. Great hospitality by the owner. They provided a nice breakfast delivered to our treehouse door each morning. We also ordered their charcuterie board and wine for dinner one night. It was fantastic. Lots of cheeses, meats, nuts , fish, bread and more. We had enough for 2 nights. Would recommend to those wanting a unique experience in a natural setting.

Everything was perfect. We were in December, we were worried about the temperature but completely unnecessarily - the fireplace in the suite heated the whole cabin quickly, adding a romantic, cozy atmosphere. Breakfast served in the morning at the door - bread, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, fresh juice. The whole cabin very clean, the bed very comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful. The owners were very nice and helpful, they responded promptly in case of problems. We had a temporary power outage, we called and immediately the problem was solved. We felt special and thank you very much for that. The whole stay allowed us to get away from reality for a while. We will definitely return, and recommend to everyone.

My stay at Secret do Gerês was truly exceptional! The staff's kindness was remarkable, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The cabin's ideal localization offered tranquility and stunning surroundings. The entire cabin was cozy, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing retreat. To top it off, the homemade breakfast was a delightful treat, making the overall experience truly memorable. Highly recommended for those seeking a perfect blend of hospitality and comfort in a picturesque setting.

We loved everything about it!

Gorgeous property! Cabin on the mountainside overlooking the River! Includes a wonderful breakfast delivered up the trail to the cabin. The host offers an incredible platter of homemade foods and local foods for an extra price that was very worthwhile! The food was wonderful. The forest was wonderful. The host and cabin were wonderful.

The special setting in the forest makes it a one-time experience. The view seeing the river between the trees and hearing the songbirds in the morning gives you a feel of nature. The recommendations from the owner for viewoints and hiking were very helpful. He also recommended us very good restaurants.

This is such a unique and beautiful place. The accommodation is immaculate and the views from the deck are spectacular. I arrived in the rain and the fire was set up to be used, extremely easy and very cosy. The owners are kind and friendly and made me feel extremely welcome. The fresh breakfast delivered each morning is divine.

it's a bit difficult to drive up the road, just a bit. nothing too much, since it is an uphill dirt road. But I feel like it's all part of the experience of staying in a treehouse.

The location was the best, hidden away in a tree cabane. Super sweet. The breakfast is served every morning right on time with a good selection of food (and deliciously feeling like it's homemade). Absolutely loved it!

Stunning views from the treehouse. Very helpful owners. The treehouse was very comfortable, especially the bed. Super walks up in the hills, behind the treehouse. Lovely swimming area. We enjoyed the breakfast hamper too.

Juan and Karina greeted us with an amazing hospitality. Their friendliness and calm vibes definitely made our stay more unforgettable. The cabin was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. We also had the most incredible view! Finally, the breakfast was delicious with fruits, warm homemade bread and pancakes, juices as well as jam, honey and cereals. They also took in consideration that I did not drink animal milk and offered me a plant based option. We plan to come back and highly recommend to anyone who wishes to connect with nature and Geres in a conformable environment :)

we spent some nights of our honeymoon at the treehouse and it was superb! it was clean, bed is super comfy, we loved the gorgeous view over Gerês, the staff/owners were very friendly, yummy breakfast served on our doorstep every morning at 9am on the dot. nothing bad to say about the place ❤️ definitely will be coming back when we have the chance next!
