Well, it has to be said, that when we first arrived outside the hotel, we wondered what we had let ourselves in for. The hotel is on a busy main road, with only 2 on street parking spaces. Other parking would be around the back streets. From the outside it looked like a backpacker hostel, dated and un inviting. Reception was on the first floor. Staff spoke good enough English however. Despite the outside appeal, I would still stay again in the hotel, for its location and cleanliness. No breakfast available in the hotel.

Once we had gotten over the shock of the outside of the hotel, and had navigated the strange little lift to the 2nd floor, we were pleasantly surprised by the room. It was totally clean, clean linen and spotless bathroom. The hotel is literally 5 mins walk from the old historic centre of Braga, which is beautiful with excellent restaurants. We used the hotel as a base to see Santuário do Bom Jesus do Monte with its iconic funicular, the historic Braga Cathedral (Sé de Braga), the beautiful Jardim de Santa Bárbara, and the monumental Arco da Porta Nova

Close enough to Braga's center (about 15 min walking), in a good shape with a free parking at the street. A person at reception helped to find a spot, which would be a challenge otherwise.

The lift was a bit strange, it was hard to tell if you could push the door open or if it was still locked

Within walking distance to the historical centre and to Forum Braga. Not in a noisy area which is great.

The triple room was so tight, it must have been a double room at some point. No place for luggage, had to use one of the beds. Parking is not easy.

Hotel is old. Noise isolation is absent. When neighbor closes the door you will hear it very well. Mattress a bit too hard.

It is old and small but exactly clean and hygenic. We stayed only one night but no major problem. After check out we used their parking approximately till afternoon without any bill. All personnels are kind and helpful.

I choose this hotel for its parking availability. There was only two spaces which were already taken. I was adviced to park in a nearby street, "for free" was I told and confirmed two times. I got a ticket because it is free but only until 9am then you have to pay. I was not told about it. 8 Euros was the fine..

Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. A little noise from the street, not unbearable. Old city very easily accessible by foot. Good bakery across the street.

The room was a bit old fashioned and quite small. We were only 2 people in a 3 person room, for 3 would be quite tight especially with bigger luggage.

Everything was okay, the room was clean and the location is close to the old centre. The bathroom was renovated and shower was very nice. Staff was friendly.
