Shower was temperamental, was cold most of the time, and would go to hot here and there. Didn’t feel safe with bedroom door not locking. Also, be aware, there are fans, but it stills get hot in the hot weather.

It felt a bit run down in places (particularly the bathrooms) - it’s obvious that the building is very old. But still comfortable!

Location is spot on! The roof terrace is really nice and the kitchen has everything you need. The female dorm room is comfortable.

the keys to get inside is a little bit complicate and the information in e-mail is not so clear. it takes me a little bit time to understand that and get inside

Only one bathroom per person, per gender. Bit of a wait sometimes. A bit of a mould problem too. Understandable in an old building, but not great! Lots of noise outside at night because of central location - bring earplugs.

Expensive by hostel standards but not by Faro standards. It's all self service, and the hostel does provide detailed instructions ahead of time. I liked that the beds were individual and not bunk beds. The volunteers I encountered were very friendly. Perfect central location. The beds were comfortable and personal space was well allocated. I felt safe. There were social spaces including a kitchen.

Even though it was clean and they cleaned the place every day, on the ceiling of the bathrooms were covered in mold.

It was cozy and they cleaned the rooms, toilets everyday. They also offered food in kitchen with a nice paying system. The staff was nice, kind and helpful.

The room is very noisy, even when the windows are shut. We could hear everything from the outside and it was difficult to sleep properly. The room was a bit dusty, and on the last day there was no electricity but I guess that can happen. There was no one to welcome you at arrival, and the owner did not send me the codes to the room despite him saying I would have received them an hour before.

Central location, very well positioned. Comfy beds and each one has a lamp and sockets to charge phones etc.

It felt like the volunteers were really tired from running the hostel, maybe they were asked beyond whats reasonable for volunteers as well. It didnt amplify the atmosphere very well. It felt like it had its golden times but was now running weary..

Good location, rooms were nice, great upper terrace. Kitchen was good. Location as well.

Poor sound isolation. It was a bit difficult to get in the hostel, but the host was kind to explain how to do it easier. There could be a trash bin and a mirror.
