The shared bathroom is through the main bedroom which was a bit inconvenient. The apartment which we got was not the one pictured on booking.com.

Fantastic location right in the city centre. Fairly quiet Street for sleeping at night. Fans in the rooms kept us cool everything we needed in the kitchen for light meals. Wonderful character and decor. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms.

We stayed in unit 9, which appears to be located in a basement. Therefore it was very chill, with stone walls. For the hot summer days we faced, it was perfect, making AC unnecessary. But if you plan to go during the winter, the unit will certainly be very cold and humid. One big problem we had was that the unit was built below the stairs and there was no sound treatment. So, late at night and early morning, we were woken by the loud noise of people walking up and down the stairs, dragging luggage, and the guests upstairs walking around. It woke me up a couple of times. If you are sensitive to noise, I strongly recommend choosing another place.

Location is amazing! Just in the heart of everything in Porto, across the street to Clerigo's Tower. We could explore everywhere just with a quick walk around. The unit was tasteful, very clean and comfortable. They had some coffee and complimentary Porto wine for us when we arrived.

The only downside is that I do feel the pictures make it look lighter and more spacious than it is.

The Pin code for the outside door was the same as our front door so we did worry the apartment next door knew our door pin. One towel did have a small rip.

Great Location and beautiful place with lovely furniture! Had all the necessities including makeup remover and cotton wool which is a first I’ve seen. Very clean and in a quiet set back street within the main area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Valentim was an excellent host. We arrived early before the room was ready, but he communicated with us in a very timely manner and let us store our bags while the room was cleaned. Once ready he walked us through the apartment to make sure we were comfortable and provided recommendations for exploring the city. The space is very well kept, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. Also, it was in a very convenient location. I would definitely stay here again!

The shower needs a nonslip mat and a grab rail. The tiles on the balcony are broken,loose and dangerous. The top of the stairs leading to the apartment needs a handrail.

Amazing location to explore Porto! The apartment was conveniently located in the historic district with easy walking distance to many sights and restaurants. It was very comfortable and spacious. It was surprisingly quiet for the location, since it's tucked away on a side street.

The only downside was the noise from outside. Bring good quality earplugs and you will be ok.

The frying pan looked as if it had seen better days, but all the other saucepans were in excellent condition. We stayed there in early April and had no problems with noise, but we wondered how noisy it might be in the height of the season.

We'd spent a lot of time choosing our accommodation in Porto, and it really lived up to our expectations. It was very central, so we could walk to/from most of the places we wanted to visit. It was comfortable, and there was plenty of room in the apartment for two people. Any questions we had were answered very promptly by Valentim.

We were met by Valentim promptly and were able to check in earlier than stated. They were helpful in letting us leave our bags several hours before check in as well. Valentim explained everything very clearly in the apartment -and there was an extensive information booklet about what to see and where to eat etc which was very helpful. The flat was extremely clean, very well equipped with clean, ironed bedlinen and plenty of fresh white towels. The bedrooms were good with very comfortable beds. The bathroom was very nice as well. The flat is well situated, near all the central area and ten to fifteen minutes walk from all the main sites. I had not realised just how steep all the street were, a lot of walking up steep inclines, and uneven cobbled streets. Very characterful, but hard work walking…be prepared. The apartment is also very quiet, a small narrow street which is very quiet, apart from all the birds, which are very vocal. A particularly nice touch was the small decanter of port, two glasses and packs of savoury biscuits to welcome us.
