Breakfasts are very simple, not much choice.

Nice place a bit apart from the city center, however, well communicated and with a lot of restaurants in around. The rooms are simple, but big and functional. A pool is available.

Communal carpet areas seen better days Had issues with the toilet but generally noone around to report to . Odd thing as I was handing in my key after 5 night stay I was told that I would have to check in first?

The breakfast options weren’t that great and sometimes felt a bit far from the centre (though easy to get a bus).

Sometimes, the breakfast fruit was in scarce supply. There was a smell around the door room entrance which needs attention.

There was an ease in residing there. Nicely sized, the staff were welcoming and accommodating. The room was bright with a pleasant view. Breakfast was full of choice and amply stocked. Room service was regular and reliable.

The location was absolutely perfect - situated in a quiet and charming neighborhood yet incredibly convenient. The nearby bus stop made it easy to explore Funchal and the surrounding areas without any hassle. The hotel itself was clean, cozy and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always willing to assist with any questions or requests. The atmosphere was relaxing and it truly felt like a home away from home.

Toilet - 50% functional with hints. Breakfast - sometimes eggs missing, sometimes vegetables missing. Old furniture.

Great location - near to local buses/restaurants. Near public (free) beach.

My only comment on something that might be improved is the cleanliness/updating of the bathrooms. The showers were rusting and my shower curtain had some brown colouring on it. I think they are just overall old and dated and could probably use some updating! One of my clean towels also had a smell to it when I got there... but otherwise it was a very spacious.

The views were very nice, the staff were very helpful and responsive, I wasn't expecting my room to be tidied everyday which was a pleasant surprise! The complimentary breakfast was very good, lots of options and a different variety of stuff every day. Really enjoyed that!

Two things... too few power sockets and air conditioning would be useful although it is not a requirement.

Definitely needs A/C. The small fan doesn't do the job.

No response from receptionist for all 3 days of stay. Had to park a car somewhere outside which would be a luck if you can park. You have better to provide clear way to pay and access underground parking.

Basically fine apartment and everything was good except receptionist and response time (we haven't got a response at all). But from all other points all was good. Reserve the parking beforehand (and pay for it, it is not free)
