The accommodation was great – very pleasant. Although the room was relatively small, it was all we needed. We also made use of the shared terrace area. The accommodation does not offer breakfast, but there is a grocery store right below, and fridges were available in the shared spaces (no dishes or cutlery, only glasses in the room). Personally, I would have appreciated having a kettle available in this way as well, but we managed without it. The rooms were clean and tidied every day. The host is very friendly, cheerful, and accommodating – he willingly helped and took care of anything we needed.. A big advantage of the accommodation is its location – right at the start of the promenade (with restaurants, bars, and shops) and directly on the beach. A lovely bonus during our stay was the daily singing of a swallow outside our window :)

The hotel is nice, but it's a bit old and so is the design of it. The rooms have no refrigerators, kettles or coffee machines, and they offer the basics.

The location of the hotel is great. You are literally go out of the hotel's front door, cross the road and you're in the beach. I stayed at the second floor. Few more steps and you're on the roof top over looking the sea. Under the hotel there's a super market. In a close proximity there are restaurants, patisseries, pubs, ice-scream shops and more, either along the shore or in the boardwalk. The manager of the hotel is king and will assist with every question you're having. The rooms are clean. the Internet is decent. No breakfast is served (at least not when I stayed there). About 2 km from the hotel (you may cover the distance by walking along the shore) you will get to the marina of villamoura - a nice place with lots of pubs, restaurants, shops and more.

Jorge was very lovely, he went of his way to accommodate us 10/10 for jorge. Area was beautiful lovely beaches but to quiet for us, we did go out of season so may try it again early in the summer.

The noise insulation could be better, the doors operate loudly, so for bad sleepers earplug is advised. There is a room for improvement in the field of bathroom facilities too (taps, ventillation). A small private fridge in the room would be nice.

A location that cannot be competed with for such price, comfortable bed, good air conditioning, modest but practical room interior, friendly host. Grocery shop right under the hotel, rooftop terrace in 30 meters, the ocean within a range of 70 m max.

Poor soundproofing. Slamming doors.

The location is amazing! Just two minutes from the beach. Friendly host. Cleaning everyday. A/c. There is a great shop next door. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants around. 30 minutes from the airport by taxi. A huge waterpark Aquashow is just 10 minutes by taxi from the hotel.

I had read other reviews the beds were really comfortable - I’d say fine for one person but probably not for two as my mine felt on the older side. Pillows were soft but I prefer firm

Nice basic Portuguese style accommodation. Staff very polite, welcoming and always offering a helping hand. Great location - across the road from the beach & plenty of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets close by. Room size is on the smaller side compared to most you’d see these days however doesn’t matter if you’re not there most of the time.
