Cute authentic room

Late night there was no one at the desk

Despite the issues during my stay, I want to sincerely thank the staff. They were kind and really tried their best to help me, even if there were some language barriers. I appreciated their efforts and friendliness throughout my time there.

I was really looking forward to my stay in Estoril, Portugal, but unfortunately it turned out to be disappointing - especially considering the price, which isn’t the lowest. For what you pay, you expect a certain level of comfort, but that was not the case. There were ongoing problems with warm water. Sometimes it worked, but most of the time there was a long delay before it got warm, which made showering really inconvenient. On top of that, the Wi-Fi didn’t work for two days, which was frustrating. The property itself has charm - the house is lovely, with a beautiful garden and some nice features - but it’s clear that maintenance is lacking. The old doors throughout the house make a lot of noise, and sound insulation is very poor. You can hear everything from your neighbours, whether it’s early morning departures or children playing loudly. Unfortunately, during our stay, the neighbours weren’t very considerate, and it was impossible to rest in the afternoon due to constant noise from kids playing basketball. It’s a place with potential, but some basic issues like hot water, noise, and upkeep really need to be addressed. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend it - especially not at this price.

The Staff were very helpful where they could be. And very responsive and understanding with there replys to any messages that I sent them. Location was very good . Very near to the seafront and centre.

The bathroom badly needed updating to make it cleaner. The bathroom door was very stiff and sharp and looked dirty. Very easy to cut your food on the edge. The Fridge was on its last legs . Under the bed was thick with dust and other things an old apple etc..... no kettle cup pr glass and air-conditioning was yellow and very old if working at all! C,mon guys let's charge a bit more and sort these basic necessity, s out. After all we our on vacation. Also bedding could have done with cleaning at least once within my weeks stay .

No bekfast, small bathroom, old premisse, some time no hot water at late night

The room was not what I expected. It looked different from the photos and the toilet was very small. Not worth the price.

We were in a twin room downstairs which was very small. It was however cheap and the people were quirky but nice and helpful. It said in the description that there was a coffee shop on the ground floor for breakfast. There is not. The bathroom was very small and old and though clean you could really only use that shower if you are slim. There was no fridge in the room that was connected. Perhaps the rooms upstairs were better.

The location is great..

The place was old nothing like the photos on line. It was dirty rundown, should not be on the market until it gets a total revamp. Extremely dissatisfied with its conditions. Old rotten windows stains on walls, old dusty furniture. Bathroom small tub is way too high to get out of comfortably. Hair dryer looks like it from the 18th century. Towels are old and rough. Kitchen unsuitable for guest, dirty messy..stairway was clamy dust...patio was dirty, bird poop all over. Fridge was tiny and propped up on an old table. Bedding was old with holes. Walls cracked , floors were old and faded. Reception area unorganized and run by an 80yr old woman. The amount I paid for this place after I saw it I nearly died!!! Unfortunately I had to deal with it because after searching for another it was impossible 🙃 at that time in such a tourist area...stay away from this place...the only good thing was the location and the mattress was comfortable....zero 🌟 rating...very disappointed 😞 😕 😔
