Bells of the nearby chuch starts at 8, and rings every half an hour.. windows are not entirely sound proof.

This was the only place we stayed that did not take advance payment. I inadvertently walked out without paying but luckily the staff caught up with me and politely reminded me of my error!

The Beatriz hotel is spotlessly clean and quiet with very comfortable beds. Its location is excellent, just outside the city walls near a beautiful church and full grocery market. Be sure to see the aqueduct and the castelo, both a short walk away. The breakfast was large and delicious. There was plenty of street parking just by the front door.

Too much smell in bed linens (so much that it was disturbing). Breakfast really basic, but price was ok.

Very well situated near the centre of the old town, the hotel was modern inside, comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The town is charming with lots of narrow cobbled alleys to explore inside the ancient walls.

The hotel used some kind of strong-smelling detergent/fabric softener which neither I, nor my husband, have a tolerance for. If you have allergies or sensitivities to strong smells, you might want to look for another place to stay.

Hotel Beatriz was in a good location for exploring the old town of Serpa. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast, very nice.

No tea and coffee provision in the room but this is a minor issue hardly something to complain about.

The only thing we did not like was that the shower leaked quite a lot out onto the floor. But it was not really a problem with the extra towels. If that were fixed, we would have rated it "excellent".

First off, the staff there were all exceptional! Thank you all very much 🙂. Breakfast buffet was lovely, plenty of variety, fresh fruit cheeses, breads, etc. Beds were very comfy too, and the location is nice and quiet, so we slept well.

There was only a small public space (two chairs) to sit in by a tv. Other than that you would have to sit in your bedroom?

The location of Hotel Beatriz was excellent and very close to the castle walls/old town. The Hotel was extremely clean, comfortable and tidy. Breakfast at Hotel Beatriz was very good - continental style. The bedroom was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water.

The rooms are ok, but nothing special. There is only little space for your personal belongings. It is equipped like a low-budget hotel.

The house is well-located. The rooms and the breakfast room are very clean. The lady at the reception was very friendly

Lovely hotel, a few minutes from the main square, beautiful view from the bedroom, very modern, super clean, very confortable matress (I am fussy) good shower temperature and pressure, air con and cable tv, great variety for breakfast and super super friendly and helpfull staff.

If you go in the summer on hot days, it does get a bit uncomfortable in the loft room (kids beds in our case) There is an aircon in the living area/kitchen but it cannot really cater for that nook

Maybe a bit sparse, but excellent value for money. I have stayed here with my family on numerous visits. Every time I shop around a bit, and then revert back to Beatriz. It is comfortable enough and excellent value for money, also very well located. My high rating is really based on the above and my needs
