Beautiful, peaceful.place with the kindest of owners making guests feel welcome and at ease. They provided also a good brief overview of useful places nearby. They clearly have a very good reputation also in town. I liked connecting with the owners and staff. As for my last days in Portugal this summer, they made it sound again: solo travel is about making new connections. Well recommended if this resonates with you as the reader of this review.

Awesome property. A bit tricky from the Camino - we didn’t find it on the way out. Breakfast is a little late if you are on the Camino. Overall great property - only improvement would be if they had food other than breakfast (which was outstanding)

It's a beautiful and Peaceful property. The staff and owner were so helpful giving us area recommendations. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer than 3 nights. I would love to return!

We LOVED EVERYTHING!!

Absolutely beautiful 15th century property. Elegantly furnished and everything you could possibly need was supplied. Breakfast was delicious in a most gorgeous setting. We were upgraded to one of the cottages, which was delightful. All of the rooms looked inviting and cozy.

We didn’t book a long enough stay.. but it’s a good reason to return for leg two of our Camino in early 2024😀

A treat for the latter part of our week long Camino Adventure, sadly cut short due to a badly sprained ankle meant we had to check into our accommodation early. Both Fatima and Vanessa were more than accommodating, where they had kindly upgraded our room to one of the outer buildings adjacent to the swimming pool. The quality and history with attention to detail is all around, from the furnishings, beautiful linen, fixtures and fittings to the luxurious grounds, green lawns with running water features. A true oasis amongst a beautiful coastal region of North Portugal. Our breakfast experience was exceptional, with a fantastic selection of cereals, buffet style continental and cooked breakfast on offer.

This is a lovely place to stay, we were greeted by Vanessa she was very lovely. We had a long day of walking the Camino, so we could not wait to rest. It was very quiet, the pool was amazing to relax in good for a joints after the walk. The amazing breakfast spread!!!! The cakes and tart are all home made. I would come back to actually stay for a holiday. Enjoyed it very much, home is lovely, clearly has history.

Magnificent property! Huge grounds, swimming pool, recreation room with pool table, seating area and fully stocked honor bar. The breakfast was magnificent, the rooms were pristine and beautifully decorated. .87 miles off the Camino and totally worth the slight detour
