The distance into Monte Gordo! 😲 We were aware but walking it 4 times a day in high temperatures was a bit too much !! Would have liked more information re the hotel facilities in our room e.g bike hire/packed lunches availability etc More displayed information in reception would be helpful e.g train/bus timetable/local map etc.Also for us would have really liked to be able to eat our breakfast outside in the lovely garden

Beautiful garden and outside space with good quality outdoors furniture Room was comfortable/spacious with balcony and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean Lots of fresh fruit every day at breakfast..would have liked option of croissants Most days had the pool to ourselves.Would definitely recommend

Everything was perfect.

Over the past 15 years or so, we have visited Monte Gordo many times and stayed in just about every hotel in the town. Quinta Da Rosa Linda is in a league of its own compared to the others. The room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had two massive beds and a balcony overlooking the pool area. Breakfasts were outstanding, with a good selection of hot and cold food, and the most delicious freshly squeezed orange juice, made with oranges from the hotel’s garden. The owners are lovely people, very friendly and helpful. For example, when we arrived, there was a problem with the TV, and it was changed for us straight away. The hotel is beautifully decorated inside and out, and there is a lot of attention to detail. There's easy and secure parking, good wi-fi, and a lovely, relaxing pool and barbecue area. The location is a little away from the main town, but we saw that as a positive rather than a negative. We walked into Monte Gordo every day where there’s a good selection of restaurants, and of course the lovely beach and boardwalk. It’s not far, just a 10 to 15 minute walk. We also rented bikes from the hotel at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be returning to this little gem of a hotel.

Our shower leaked so we had to use our hand and hair towels to stop a flood also the breakfast is very basic

We got a room with a terrace (pool view). Staff is friendly,well speak English. There is a nice garden behind the pool with lots of orange trees and same oranges (and juice) are served during breakfast. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the terrace and garden a lot. The beach nearby is nice and with a fantastic green park alongside.

Spacious, kitchen facilities, relaxing poolside, breakfast, though more natural cereals like porridge oats and bio yoghurt would be good. The location was peaceful, and the bicycles enabled us to easily visit several beaches and the salt marches. Staff helpful. Loved the scent of orange blossom outside (springtime).

We would have preferred a room with a balcony but the room we got, which was to the front of the building was sufficient. Large room, plenty of storage. No traffic noise despite being on a main highway.

Every thing. The pool area and equipment were immaculate all the furnishings were comfy and clean. The artwork and decorations were impeccable. Breakfast was delicious. The walk into Monte Gordo wasn’t too far and there was two cafés and a restaurant nearby if you don’t want to walk far.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

This place is a real gem, located within a 15 minute walk to central Monte Gordo & 20 minute walk to the beach. Spotlessly clean, lovely pool & gardens. Great & varied choice for breakfast. Would definitely visit again 🙂
