Resort need some refurbishment regarding the pathways to the beach and public swimming pool facilities

Perfect location to enjoy the beach and lifestyle in Comporta and its peninsula

We stayed three years in a row and by coincidence same villa in the last 2 years. Both the villa and the resort are getting old and need significant renovations. Also annoying alarms rang around midnight in most of the villas around and lasted half an hour until someone stopped it. We experienced same issue last year so managed to stay calm.

Lots of bugs inside from the moment we arrived. The first night, my son had 4 bites in his face that looked like some sort of spider bite. We found spiders and ants all over the house. Many bites for all of us but the most were to my son in the room he was in. Couch cushions were also very uncomfortable. Visibility in the two master bathrooms at night was uncomfortable. Not very soundproof.

I booked this time by booking and the language of the type of the apartment so we got one that was not what we expected. The furniture was also very low and seamed for small people, I’m 1,94 tall which made a bit challenging. Very bad pillows also.

It was our 5th time, the location offers so many options for leisure and relaxation. Great relaxed restaurants and a 45 min drive from Lisboa which gives you a great chance to have a getaway with a vacation feel. Spacious apartments or if you have more people amazing vilas.

Maintenance and quality of some materials. Some cleaning - chairs in one of the balconies were totally unusable!

Location. It’s right in the middle of a natural park. Its great to wake up and have breakfast to the sound of birds and views of pine trees. Great for the kids as they can wander around and play in safety and in the nature

One can feel thatbthe resort consists of individual owners. Also restaurants are all doing their own thing. Night bar - or a place to come together is missing. Got 2-3 Club houses, but no bar or entertainment. Was quite “cold

The cot had a mattress which was too soft for a baby and didn’t go all the way to the edge of the cot which made it unsafe. (See photo). So our baby had to sleep on a bed with us…

Great house with 3 bedrooms and an equipped kitchen and a private pool! Beautiful location. Peaceful and green. Lovely beach. Moana restaurant has a great view!

We were 5 persons and we only had 4 sun bedroom. We ask for 1 more and never arrived. The pool hás a huge tree that does not allow sun in the pool all days, so in september water was very cold.

The available bicycles are in bad shape. Guests need to rent others if you want ones in good condition. The wooden flooring throughout the resort needs some work. Pricy stay..

Natural setting. Fantastic pool. The moana bar is perfectly located next to the beach with a breathtaking view to the ocean. The wooden pathways are incredible for whoever wants to go for a walk or bike ride. Netflix

- the floor was net clean when we arrived - the fire alarm was launched several times and we could not reach anybody because there is no central system to inform that it is a false or right alarm.

I would have liked more dishwasher tabs to be provided for a weeks stay. 3 seems stingy. Also a food welcome pack with basics like salt and pepper, bread, butter, milk, tea and coffee. We arrived very late so that would have been welcome.

The workings ( pool cleaning) do not respect privacy. They go straight without any sign to your privat pool and start working . Very shocking.

The house we rented was not as great as the surroundings. It was a bit worn out, and the materials used to build it were of poor quality. It would also be nice if, while renting an apartment, there was salt, pepper, and anything you can use to wash your dishes (plus more than 2 washing machine capsules and more than one additional rubbish bag). These do not cost a lot but would make the stay a bit more organised from the beginning. Moreover, while the neighbours are talking on the balcony during the night, you can hear their every word, unfortunately.

The whole resort is excellent, very beautifully maintained, with great swimming pools and access to the beach. It is very well maintained and excellent for families.

The restaurant and beach bar had limited opening times and the mini market on site was tiny! The local mini market was somewhat limited too so self catering was a bit of a challenge.

The beach was absolutely stunning! There were 3 gorgeous outdoor pools and 2 indoor pools. We enjoyed the football pitch, the tennis courts and the bike hire. Nearby Comporta had some lovely restaurants.

Indoor swimming pool showing signs of long use but water quality good. Access ladder needed repair. Wedding parties “blocked” use of only evening restaurant one day

Apartment was close to main pool and had a view through pine trees to the ocean. Raised boardwalks through the trees are well lit after dark. On site restaurants open for longer during the day than in 2023
