A wonderful little house with everything you need for living. The only thing missing was a washing machine, but for a few days it's not important. From the top floor there is a panoramic view of the sea and mountains. Very attentive and friendly owner. Nearby is a beautiful beach with volcanic sand. On the shore there is an excellent fish restaurant. There are also routes for hiking. I highly recommend it.

Quinta da Vila is very central but quite location. Great views and two areas to sit outside. The inside is clean and everything you need. The host is very helpful and close should you need him. The view to the sea from one of the two bedroom windows.

Clean, spacious, quiet, super close to the harbour, beach and all the shops and restaurants of Porto da Cruz. Great views and the access to the tropical fruit garden was a real treat.

We felt at home there. The hosts were very friendly and happy to help. The little haus had mostly everything one can need. They even let us use the washing machine to get some fresh clothes. Very close to some good restaurants and the surfers beach. Also the pools were easy to get to on foot. No need for a car. Very close to the airport. 15 min drive.

- we would have appreciated some more information beforehand regarding arrival. The adress leads to the "wrong" entrance, that doesn't have a number, neither the name of the place, so we were uncertain if we are in the right place and had to call Abel, who navigated us to the "right" entrance (from the given adress follow the road up and take the next right turn, then another right turn, which will lead you on a narrow street to a "tower", entrance to the property and onside parking is opposite that small tower) - Abel informed us to keep the windows without insect protection closed, as a certain insect started to be active around that time of year. Even though the bathroom window had insect nets and nothing else was open, we suddenly had many of the insects (most dead) in the shower when returning after the day out. - bed was a bit narrow if you're not travelling as a couple

- nice apartment with amazing views from the upper floor (ocean, mountains, banana garden) - Abel was very friendly and welcoming and informed about everything - it's possible to harvest bananas straight from the trees - Porto da Cruz is a very charming and cute village, especially great for surfing - very close to the airport, but no airport noises - very sweet cats on the property

Comfortable studio with a vast outdoor space and banana garden. Those who wake up early can enjoy the incredible view of the sunrise. The town centre, restaurants and seafront are a 5 minute walk.

Three small suggestions ... 1) There only seemed to be one 'sharp' knife in the kitchenette, but it wasn't sharp. A new knife would be useful. 2) Some written information in the studio would be useful e.g. where to shop, places of local interest, restaurant recommendations, what to do with rubbish. 3) We arrived at night-time and drove up the narrow, very steep hill to locate the property. Abel told us it would be better to approach the accommodation from the other end of the road. It would be a good idea to communicate this information to guests before their arrival.

Comfortable accomodation. Good location for exploring the north-east of Madeira during our 4 night stay. Close to village amenities, such as restaurants and a small supermarket. The studio was very clean. The kitchenette enabled us to cook meals. The bed was very firm, but OK for me! We enjoyed the use of the sun loungers. The shower temperature was just about OK, but hotter would be better! Many thanks to Abel for his friendliness and waiting for our arrival at 23.10

It wasn't too clear on the photos that the green area with sun beds belonged to the studio and not the house. The green area is very appealing! The bed could also be comfier!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The owner was very sweet and helpful. The accommodation was quiet. There was a little outside space to sit with nice views. The great restaurants and village centre were within a short walk away. The house had all we needed including a secure parking area. We adored Madeira.

It would be good to provide foodstuffs such as olive oil if we want to prepare our meals, and coffee/tea

The view is incredible, the owner is so kind. If you have a car, we do not recommend to go to Funchal since it is very complicated to park. This location was perfect, it’s a village with some restaurants and markets with very few tourists. That’s makes the experience even more real.

Very friendly host! He even took me to Perola with his car to hike PR10. Furthermore I had some dirty laundy to be cleaned. When I asked if they had a machine, they offered to clean it for me. The apartment was clean & well equipped. All in all I enjoyed my stay very much.
