Construction on the building began and lasted for the duration of our trip; I wish we would have been notified. Key pick-up was done in person, which made the time to pick up keys difficult with flight delays, taxi time from airport, and attempting to communicate with host with international cell phone plans.

The location was fantastic; a quick walk walk to many different beaches, grocery stores, restaurants, and bus stops. Outside of the bustle of the city, but one could bus or walk into Porto very easily!

This location is priceless. We slept by a balcony looking out at the Atlantic Ocean. The full glass sliding door wall was heavily sound-resistant if we ever tired of the sound of waves. I would live here.

The sea view is excellent but the apartment is on the main busy road . Therefore there is a lot of traffic noise. The entrance was hard to find , and needs a sign.

We chose this for the sea view, and it had a balcony . The owner was very helpful explaining the area and making recommendations.

Would have been nice to have a place for four people to eat together.

Excellent location, numerous markets and restaurants within walking distance. Easy to get to the center city by bus or Uber ($5-10). Very clean, balcony had amazing views. Vitor and wife were a great resource and so accommodating and friendly. They treated us like family.

It's quite loud out there due to a road in between the building and the ocean beach. The hosts did all their best to decrease the noise level - good windows and an additional layer of protection (sliding door at the balcony). Just be prepared and bring earplugs to sleep well and have enough energy to enjoy the ocean and Porto.

The location was just amazing! maybe 50 meters from the ocean :) and the unique opportunity to watch sunsets above the ocean from a balcony :) The hosts are very pleasant and careful, ready to help with everything.

Two things to just be aware of when making a decision on this place - while there is a gorgeous view of the beach, there is a busy street between the apartment and the beach/ocean. This means that when you are relaxing on the balcony the street noise can be very loud and drown out the sound of the ocean, it can also be noisy at night but I didn't find it too bad. However, you can just walk across the street to the beach if you want to enjoy without the street noise. The second things is that while there is a coffee machine and hot water kettle provided, there is no coffee pods, tea bags, cream, or sugar provided. I purchased these items at the grocery store but I was only staying for three nights and there is no way to purchase small amounts of these items. It would make all the difference in the world to just provide a few of these things for your travelers. I had to leave the extra behind for the next guests. For what you are paying for the property it doesn't feel like it's too much to ask for 2-3 coffee pods, some tea bags, and some sugar packets.

The host went above and beyond and allowed me an early check in on arrival with prior communication and that was so helpful. The view was GORGEOUS and the space was very comfortable. You can literally lay in bed and watch the ocean! Everything was very clean and the location was perfect - close to a grocery store, restaurants, atm, and of course the beach! There is a washer and dryer, coffee pod machine, and hot water kettle.

The noise from the road was quite loud. The external doors could be closed but that defeats the the ocean view.

The apartment was beautiful and very well appointed and spotless, the location was perfect with stunning view of the sea and a generous balcony, vitor the host was a pleasure to deal with and so friendly and accommodating, complimentary wine and port on arrival, he recommended and booked a fabulous restaurant for us our first night and organised our airport transfer at 4am to the airport, walking distance to the beach and restaurants, we really enjoyed staying here and would highly rate it

The street in front is a bit noisy but when you close the blinds at night it is perfectly fine to sleep.

The apartment was beautiful, the view amazing and the hosts were very kind and always available. I worked remotely from the flat and it was great! Thanks again Vitor and wife! :) We would definitely come back!

LOVED IT! The host was great, showed us the apartment, we travelled with our daughter who is 8 months and they had a baby cot and highchair ready and even a baby bath tub! The location was amazing! We went for walks, and enjoyed the evenings watching the sunset on the balcony. The bed was very comfortable and loved the sound of the ocean. Highly recommended!

We were made to feel like home by the owners, the view was absolutely stunning and the location is amazing for a relaxing trip. The mattress and the pillows were very good quality and very comfortable, which in turn made us want to spend even more time in bed. All in all just very good.

Really beautiful space, everything you could want in a short stay apartment. Amazing views. Lovely cafes and restaurants within walking distance and great promenade to walk for the views. Good sights to visit nearby as well. Only 15 minutes by taxi to the city centre

NOISE. The balcony overlooks a busy road: cars, trucks, buses, motorbike day and night. Very very noisy all the time even with two layers of balcony doors closed, even at night. You either enjoy sea view and air OR peace and quiet. Bring earplugs.

The hosts very friendly and helpful. Location by the seaside and many cafes. Equipped for staying with a baby: baby chair and baby cot available. Good bed. good kitchen, good bathroom
