This is an amazing place! The location is very nice for travellers with a car, you can reach every places in Olhao in minutes and this is the place which has no big difficulties with parkings, neither free no paid parking. And of course the parking on the place is safety, free and has enough space. It may seem on google maps that the road to the villa is kinda tricky, but Manuela will send the coreect link and you will arrive without troubles in minutes. Rooms are very comfy and it's nice to sit outside by the pool in the evening. Girls, the fan in bathroom is 2200W, so you will need a couple of minutes to dry hair🔥! Also shower gel and soap are nice with orange verbena smell. Grab some hair conditioner if you need.

They have a really tasty breakfast, with handmade jams. And during summer they have their own fruits for breakfast and it's also very great.

Beautiful location with amazingly kind hosts. The directions we received to reach the place were on point and found the location very easy. Upon check in we received plenty of recommendations. Manuela and Miguel were amazing,very warm and kind people. Our room was very big with very comfortable bed. The entire place was very clean, you can tell they take very good care of it. Breakfast was delicious with local products. We are definitely considering coming back in the future.

I reckon there wasn't anything we would have said we didn't like. The place was just perfect for us.

I had to say that our stay was really above our expectations. We felt like we were almost like at home. The owners are very kind, the property was clean and cozy, the food was delicious and fresh. We appreciated the calm area, but in the other hand it's located close to other towns and easily to access by taking highway to get somewhere else.

If you go here, you need a hire care, and if you hire a car make sure it has decent ground clearance. The distance from the road makes it delightfully peaceful and secluded but the track would not suit a VW UP.

A stunning place to stay. A lovingly restored farmhouse featuring several rooms all carefully designed and full of character. The swimming pool overlooks a fig grove, which provides the fruit for the jam in the excellent breakfast.

The road to the property was a challenging gravel road. Be sure to contact owners about the best route to their property. Following Google maps will give you the wrong and very rough road- even by Portugal standards.

Monte das Perdizes is a lovely mini-hotel/B&B about 30 minutes drive from Faro. Our room was spacious, modern and very clean with excellent air conditioning, a comfortable king size bed and large modern bathroom. There was also a separate kitchenette area with fridge, microwave and kettle. Outside there’s plenty of seating (both loungers, comfortable seating and table/chairs for al-fresco breakfasts. Indeed breakfast was excellent and nice to be able to sit outside and eat by the pool. The husband and wife owners were so friendly and gave lots of local advice. The only drawback is access is along 1km of very bumpy dirt track. You also do need a car for access. Absolutely loved the hotel and would highly recommend. (Thank you).

Nothing it was a great place and a great stay.

I will run out of superlatives to describe this place. From the gorgeous, leisurely breakfasts sitting outside, followed by trips out to explore the Rias Formosa area, or lovely local towns. Then back for a late lunch and a relaxing afternoon by the pool, reading or just looking at the scenery. Then driving out to a local restaurant to sample the food. Mandiba (their gentle dog) was always there to welcome us back. Miguel and Manuela were always on hand to provide information and support. The rooms were good sized than thoughtfully laid out with everything you would expect for this kind of accommodation. Rooms were cleaned every day and towels changes regularly. The bed was large and comfortable and there was plenty of storage. The couple and their staff work really hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible, creating a peaceful and relaxed oasis amongst the fig trees which provided an endless supply of tasty fruit during our august visit.

The only issue is the approach road which is a rough track. Makes it less inviting to go out in the evening .

We stayed here a few years ago and enjoyed it so much we were determined to go back. Excellent then & excellent now. Everything immaculately clean - we couldn’t fault it. Lovely walk in shower , comfortable bed , nice breakfast and we were able to eat outside as the weather was kind. Our hosts are kindness personified. We asked if it was ok to bring food back one evening and they were so obliging . We needed an early breakfast to catch our flight and we were provided with everything you could need at 6.00 a.m including a sandwich to take with us. Garden/ pool area well cared for set in idyllic countryside.

There is not much that can be done about it, but the space around the swimming-pool is very limited. If all houses are occupied, and everyone is at the swimming-pool you lie very close to each other. No facilities for children, because there is no space.

Breakfast was more than excellent : big choice in cold and warm drinks, bread and cakes, (self-made) jam, cheese, ham, ... yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereals .... in abundance. Very nice and helpful people, great room (we had a studio with separate kitchen and sitting-room)

As North Americans, we found it difficult to find the property as signage was easily missed. Google maps were more accurate but our leased car was equipped with Tomtom 😡. Our wonderful host Miguel actually came to direct us to the property.

Everything! This was a wonderful place to stay. Breakfast were excellent and filling. Our hosts were very welcoming, helpful and attentive to our needs. Our hosts also recommended a fantastic restaurant in the adjacent community; excellent menu. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. And added bonus was the tiny kitchenette off the bedroom.

Absolutely beautiful apartment in a stunning quiet location a couple of miles outside of Olhao. The owners Manuela and Miguel along with their housekeeper Ligia made our stay the best on our trip through Spain and Portugal. The countryside around monte das perdizes is full of walks,and wildlife is abundant. If you want easy access to the towns but also solitude away from the tourist trap, this is the place to stay.
