What a wonderful accomodation! Very clean en comfortabel houses, with dealy cleaning and breakfast service. We loved the pool and view of the ocean. The kids enjoyed the cats. We Will for sure come again when we return tot sao Miguel.

There was some mold in our apartment.

The property is very beautiful, the breakfast splendid (it comes in a cute picknick basket) and we enjoyed also the pool very much. The man who is taking care of the property showed our kids the rabbits and hens and was so kind to us - he brings true soul to the property.

Only a few minor things: The pool is beautiful, but the water could have been cleaner. The grass needed to be cut, the outside umbrella needed to be replaced and one of the outside chairs at the table was broken.

Breakfast was excellent. Location is beautiful and peaceful. House was very clean. Loved the drinking water they filled each day. The whole family loved watching the cats. They were great at catching bugs and mice. We appreciated their hunting efforts.

Calm and quite location, in a small village. Don’t expect restaurants or a lot of bars to go out and gang out in. Perfect stay if you want to slow down and enjoy nature.

Windmill was gorgeous. The view from the bedroom was amazing. We loved the breakfast. Communication was excellent. We did have a slight problem, and it was dealt with immediately. We couldn't be happier with our stay.

Truly cannot think of anything that was amiss.

Hotel Moinho das Feterias exceeded every single expectation. The location is WOW beautiful, with outdoor grounds featuring fruit trees in bloom and stunning sea views. My children were delighted with the rabbits, chickens, roosters, and cats prowling the grounds peacefully each day and spent mornings checking on them. We stayed in the Caleiro building, which offered a big bright upstairs bedroom and a pullout sofa in the common area downstairs alongside the kitchen; both sleeping areas also had flatscreen tvs. Each floor has a heating/cooling unit which worked wonderfully. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use; the dishwasher was a nice surprise. The breakfast was beyond anything I could have imagined, with fresh fruit, cheese, cream, juices, rolls, and meats arriving daily. The staff was efficient and thorough in daily cleaning and quick to respond to questions via Whatsapp. I very much hope to return to Sao Miguel and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. The location was ideal for easy drives to all parts of the island and enough off the beaten track to feel like an escape when we arrived back each evening.

When we arrived, Manuel showed us around the beautiful property. He introduced our daughter to the rabbits and chickens. He showed us the restored windmill, the infinity pool, and the grounds. The whole property has amazing views of the cliffs and sea. Feteiras is about 15 minutes away from PDL, but it feels like you are going back in time. I can't recommend it highly enough. The breakfast was also reat. The staff delivered bread, eggs, jams, cheeses, etc. for us to prepare a large breakfast everyday.

Everything was perfect.

Once we saw pictures and information about Moinho das Feteiras on Bookings.com, we planned our 3 week trip to Portugal around availability of the windmill. We had high expectations - and they were exceeded! This historic property is one of a kind! The views are unparalleled and it was a delight to wake up every morning to the sound of crowing roosters and a breakfast basket delivered to our front door.

The view at the ocean was so-so from our house but then we had lots of privacy with our garden view.

We liked the house, the garden and our privacy. The breakfest was delivered each day and with lots of options. Catarina was really nice and very communicative. We can only recommend this property, but maybe next time it would be nice to get other house with a better view at the ocean.

It was quite chilly in the evening so sitting outside wasn't an option, the lounge area was dark with just 2 slightly uncomfortable easy chairs and a dining table and chairs and no view. In warmer weather the upstairs balcony will be great.

Lovely views and garden. Lots of space. Great shower room upstairs. Nice breakfast basket delivered each day with sufficient provisions for a picnic lunch as well.

Great breakfast delivered to your room (house). Excellent location for day trips to the Western parts of the island. To the east it takes a little more than an hour. Wonderful view.

Our casita was very cute. Bed was comfortable with great morning views. Bathroom has great water pressure and gets pretty hot (so important for me). The kitchen has the essentials. Daily breakfast usually includes eggs and we would fry them every morning. When we had an early morning excursion they brought our breakfast and left it in our fridge the night before. I loved this little spot. It’s about 20 min driving to ponte Delgada and the airport. Staff was amazing.
