The swimming pool and spa were closed, only found out after I booked.. Also could not get the TV in my room to work. No live music in bar area despite posters advertising it.

Great location. Walking distance to pier and boats, restaurants and station. Very clean. Staff were very friendly. From outside does not look like much, but inside decor is stunning. I order the pizza to my room. Delicious!!!! The breakfast was also very very good.

Some of the towels were stained. Some of the sockets stopped working. The shower head holder would barely stay up and difficult to set the shower temperature (either to hot or cold). At the time of the booking, they said the pool would be available, but a week before the stay, they emailed saying the pool would be closed. The breakfast was a little disappointing, not a great variety, and no vegetables (apparently they don't eat tomato for breakfast). The tea selection was poor variety and quality. No sound insulation in the room. I could talk to my sister in the next room when we were in the bathrooms.

The location was great, the staff was polite and friendly. The room was cleaned to a high standard. I loved that checkout is at noon. They would provide towels for the beach too, which was very convenient.

The walls were so thin I could hear conversations next door. At times it was so loud it sounded like they were in my bathroom I booked a doibke bed and was given a room with 3 singles. I moved rooms and got 2 singles pushed together . Hotel advised booking was t for a double bed The swimming pool was closed and it was one of the main reasons I booked.. this should have been mentioned when booking confirmed . Was too late to change after I’d been advised I also emailed the hotel a question and got no reply

Location was great and staff were helpful

The ongoing construction at the hotel was very noisy and this should have been stated before guests book at the hotel. Also not being able to use any of the facilities that are under construction is really bad. To make up for this either the room rate should have been lower or a complimentary gift/voucher/discount at future stays could have been given.

The breakfast was great, lots of variety and fresh food. I also like the hours for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the touch of complimentary popcorn and sweets in our room :)

There was only 1 coffee machine at breakfast which at times entailed a 10 - 15 minute queue to get coffee. Apart from that nothing.

A large modern hotel, with a number of large groups staying. The facilities are good and with an indoor pool and spa. It overlooks the end of the canal with an easy 10 minute walk into the old town. Our room was large and comfortable. The public areas were large with plentiful and comfortable seating. There is secure but chargeable underground parking, but we parked on the open (and free) area at the front of the hotel. The breakfast has a wide range, and even when large groups were present the staff kept the food replenished at all times.

We were missing some vegetables in breakfast. We don't eat meat or cheese, and even though there ware fresh fruits, some veggies would be nice.

The spa was very good, staff were attentive and nice, rooms were spacious. Located looking at the river. Breakfast is rich. Area with restaurants and cafes, and plant of parking.

Lovely hotel positioned a moderate walk into the centre. Sits in a lovely position on the canal with a backdrop of the old ceramic factory. Secure underground parking.

No so friendly staff, paying for the garage in the property, and to use the pool you will need a swimming cap, if you don’t have one you will need to buy a €5 for a swimming cap, even if you are bald!

Nice room view of the canal. Brand new hotel. Far from the center.

The breakfast was the same every day, they could put different type of eggs and veggies and other bread...one week after you don't want to eat. The fire escape stairs are more clean and well mantained than the Spa...the rust, unclean pools, dirty windows. The elevators could be faster for the amount of guests. It should be a 3 star hotel.

The location, the spacious rooms, the friendly personnel.

Breakfast room over crowded which left lots of cutlery items missing or food empty on the weekend; however, this was probably down to a festival being present in Aveiro and the hotel at high capacity. Car Entrance to the Parking garage was steep and has the potential to ground the bottom of the car.

Location and Hotel Staff superb for central Aveiro. Facilities very good; such as gym, sauna and pool.

The bed was really hard, aircon was efficient, but noisy. Shower drain didn’t drain properly, but managed not to flood the bathroom. No other sockets near the bed but the ones for nightlamps.

Our room was spacious and breakfast was really nice. Parking garage had plenty of spaces.
