There was no glass in the room. The height of the tap outlet is levelled with the top of the sink in the bathroom, which makes it very uncomfortable to rinse your teeth without a glass.

The room was large and perfectly clean. It has air conditioning, a balcony with two chairs and a small table. The bed was almost king-size and there was a small desk, easy to work on or to dine on. There is also a small fridge in the room which is always a must when travelling.

The WiFi didn’t really work. You could text, but not access social media/news. The room was clean and the location was perfect. Staff was kind. Would have preferred to have two pillows per each of us and a wash cloth. Overall, good for a short stay, but not for a long one.

The shower was messy to use. the shower head was clogged and spayed very little water everywhere. Hard to use. Carpets in hall were visibly dirty.

WIFI was not available at all in the room, it was impossible to connect except right in front of the door. The room was not ready when we arrived despite being way later than the checkin time. They explained that had issues with laundry service so thats ok, it can happen but they should at least had the proactivity to offer something in return such as breakfast or something. If guests want to stay longer or do checkin earlier, then, we are charged extra cost, but the opposite does not come with any return despite being 3 hours after checkin time. For the price, breakfast should at least be included and WIFI should work flawlessly, which was not the case.

Both, room and bathroom were big and we got lucky that was not facing the main street, as the noise isolation is not good, so we could sleep without car noises. The workers at the reception were very nice and even offered some advices as to what to visit in the area.

No Manager to deal with the issue of double booking

Martin the receptionist was very helpful Tried to undo booking which was mistakenly done for the 13 May to14th may . As We needed for that night 13 April to 14th. WE HAD TO REBOOK AT A HIGER RATE. WHICH WAS €11 MORE. We met two people the next day on checkout and they had no Authority to refund the original amount as they were not Management. The Manager was off that day 14th. I'm now requesting the full refund Lees €16 which was breakfast for two people Booking. Com can do this as you don't pay the hotel immediately and if you do you should see the value of my custom and act fairly

Great place to stay in the heart of Cantanhede. Hotel is modern and with all the appliances you need for a great stay. Room was comfy and the bed was really good. Would add a pair of additional pillows, but overall, great place to stay. Breakfast was good enought.

We've been travelling a lot and have stayed in many places. Usually, I would not take the time to leave a review for a hotel where we only stayed one night - I don't have the time. However, this hotel stood out positively in almost every aspect (most other places had some really nice aspects, but also some issues) and was really good value.
