Breakfast was okay

The location is really good and the communication with Raquel was really easy.

The bed was very squeaky and hard.

Everything was amazing. Great interior decor, friendly staff, great location. The owner Racquel is very friendly and she made us feel home. It was such a nice feeling

Great breakfast, some variety each morning, lovely breakfast room. Shared bathroom is fine. Very comfortable room, just five minutes walk to the metro and to the hop-on hop-off bus.

It was a beautiful room that had all we needed for a 3-night visit to Lisbon.

Raquel was awesome. The place was nice. The view was great while walking down the street. The breakfast was nice, there were a lot of options.

A bit far from downtown Lisbon. The park and the coffee shops nearby were nice.

The room was big which was serviced everyday and we had a little balcony which allowed us to see Marques De Pombal square. Walking distance to train station, car hire and botanical gardens. Raquel is an amazing manager of Magnolia, offering ideas of places to see, restaurants and Pastéis de Nata shops 🙂 The breakfast she puts out has everything one needs to start the day right! Exceptional place to stay thank you 🙏🏼

I would say the stay was very nice with comfortable bed and the breakfast was also good which had coffee, bread, yogurt, cakes, butter, eggs and thanks to raquel for making our checkin smooth on the first day. The place was very cleaned and even the bathroom was well maintained.

I think it was little bit outside city centre location. But at the door step there is a bus stop where you can take it to reach the city centre.

Spacious room with air conditioning in a traditional building. Good breakfast.

No automatic access to microwave or to a kettle to prepare a hot drink.

I like the atmosphere. The breakfast was decent and the host unbelievable friendly.

It was a little loudly at the morning and evening because people were closing the doors not properly but it was not that problematic, just something to mention.

The host was lovely and the room cute and comfortable. Breakfast was fine.

I understood that we'd share a bathroom but not that it would be shared amongst three rooms. The bathroom we were allocated was the furthest away from our room, despite there being two shared bathrooms directly opposite us.

We had a fantastic stay! The room was perfect, the staff incredibly friendly and the breakfast was nice. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel for your next trip!

Easy access on property, owner very accomodating, location is perfect and very accessible, breakfast is really good!

Very convenient location with easy access to different parts of the city. The room was spotless clean with good bed linens and comfortable bed, the whole place is tastefully decorated with attention to details! Greetings and special thanks to Raquel, she made sure we felt at home!

The professionalism of the staff, who coordinated the entire communication process. Profound details as to operational service at the guest house and intensive list of places to eat and interesting places to visit. The location was absolutely perfect, a 10- 15 minutes bus drive away from the centre city. 👌

Having to share bathroom. As an elderly person, i think there should be a facility for a private bathroom. Having to get up during the night to go over to the bathroom was not really ideal for me. Also, it would have been nice to have access to kettle for hot drinks.

Instructions to access the guesthouse were a little complex but well explained and the owner responded quickly to questions. I had a problem entering at night, so rang and they were very helpful and sorted me out. Comfortable and pleasant room. There was road noise but it was fine. The shared bathroom was small but clean and had everything needed. Breakfast had a range of help yourself selections- and a lady organising breakfast was present, a good start to the day.

Very spacious room with a private bathroom. Everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot! Breakfast was also plentiful and very tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful with many good recommendations for restaurants and navigating the city. We had a great stay.

The automatic light at the top of the steps before you enter Magnolia Guesthouse doesn’t come on until you are up there so it’s a little dark trying to navigate it.

Clean bathroom, not crowded. Nice breakfast (bread,cheese,joughurt, some fruit,...) very nice staff. About 7 min walk to the metro station (downhill, be aware of the steep hill to the guesthouse).

Bed was a little bit hard for my liking. Windows looking toward a street (all rooms are on the first floor)-but it was not very loud.

My second stay at Magnolia - and would definitely come back for a third time! Nice cosy rooms, excellent breakfast with homemade foods. Welcoming host and easy check-in & check-out. Good location with bus stops directly in front of the house and metro stop nearby. Grocery stores & shopping center at walking distance.

This is not an issue for me but important for people who are sensitive to sounds - the rooms are not particularly soundproof, they are also by the side of a large road so expect noise when you have the windows open

The simplicity of it all. Traditional Lisbon building put to good use.

Tea making and TV in the room might be a good addition.

Amazing host, very responsive and helpful. Gave us recommendations on where to eat and drink. Easy to contact. Helped us out when we couldn't access cash. Went above and beyond. Very clean bathrooms and bedroom. Breakfast was perfect, lots of choice.

The bed was quite firm.
