The matress on the bed was too hard for my comfort. But, the extra duvet made a great pad.

The staff was very helpful. They created a Whatśapp chat and sent me all needed check in information. They responded to my messages immediately and were very helpful and patient. The house was clean and tastefully decorated with beautiful hardwood floors. The bedroom was large and airy. The living room was comfortable and cozy with a wood burning fireplace. There was a back garden and small patio with table and chairs which was perfect for breakfast. The kitchen was well equipt with everything I could need. When I let them know there was no olive oil - I did it as an FYI. However, they quickly responded and filled the olive oil dispenser right away. The location was perfect - right in the middle of Sete Cidades. It was convenient for hiking and enjoying the lakes.

The house is vary charming, location could not be better to explore the area. It is very quiet even though is on a main road, fear not the noise of the cars as it is not busy. The fire place was a huge plus and both Luis and Joana were very generous with the wood to ensure we had a very cosy atmosphere. The house has everything you need to feel at home and relaxed, specially after trekking the amazing surroundings, one of the best trails starts a mere stone through from the house. Bed very comfortable for a good rest. Kitchen equipped with all you need to make any meal. Due to the weather we did not get to enjoy the garden but the view was fantastic. All in all a great place to stay with charming and very friendly hosts. Definitely will be recommending it to people who might come and visit Sete cidades.

It's wet. Really wet. I understand that it’s due to the climate of the island (besides, the house is located among the hills), but it’s still cold there and things can’t dry after washing. There were problems with water heating, we were never able to take a proper hot shower. Also, Wi-Fi isn't working on the second floor.

This is a whole house with two floors, where on the ground floor there is a living room, kitchen and shower, and on the second there is a bedroom and an additional bathroom. The house is actually quite well equipped. The hosts tried to provide comfortable accommodation in the humid climate of the Azores - the house has a humidity control device, heaters and even a fireplace. The place is really calm and romantic.

Old bath room.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful garden. It is accessible to the lake, restaurants, mini-mercado and etc. This town is small, actually. Staff is very kind and devoted. Always quick response!!

Noise from the main street, many motorbikes and quad bikes as local tourist enterteinment even on the evening and early morning, noise from next apatment - unsufficient noise insulation between apartments. Gas cooker and stove didn’t work properly.

Very nice garder, good location and nice neighborhood, near to nice trips, clean and sufficient apatment equipment, bottle of local wine as welcome gift. Garden is shared between 3 apartments.

This was a full adventure. First the property manager told us they would meet us at a specific time. We arrived and nobody was there. They knew we didn’t have phone service, but didn’t think it was a big deal to show up. We eventually got wifi and they told us they weren’t coming. So we get into the property and go into the bedroom and shut the door so our 1 year old doesn’t get out. We are immediately locked in the room as the door is broken. Luckily somebody had already punched through the door (which wasn’t fixed either just a white paper taped over top). So I was able to reach through and unlock the door on the other side. 10 minutes later we close the door to the bathroom and that won’t open either. After contacting management they were aware of the issues and didn’t bother to fix them or let us know. We had a 3 and 1 year old that could have gotten locked in these rooms alone. This was an extremely dangerous situation that this house obviously didn’t care about. A maintenance man came much later and put tape and paper in the door so it wouldn’t close. We are very lucky nothing seriously dangerous happened. Made sense why they refused to come out as they would have to face us with all the broken things and were trying to avoid it. Idk if it’s the owner or a separate property manager but they obviously care more about money than safety.
