How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Excellent location and room. Shared bathroom worked perfectly and overall great value for money in the centre of lisbon. Room was immaculate and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Late check out also fab.

Nothing as such just that it was quite a "basic" stay however for the price paid it should have been expected. We also stayed here for 1 night so just to spend the night it is ok. As soon as you enter the building is quite scary however once you enter the location its quite ok.
The location was quite central to all other locations.

The staff was very informative and knew everything when you needed assistance of the area, kind and could relate to anyone with a good attitude, it felt like home away from home. The guest house is in the city centre, very close to certain touristic attractions and public transport, A big thank Catia and Asarah🤗👏🎉😘

Under the sinks it had a smell and slightly stunk, but everything else was fine
They stored our luggage for us before check in and after check out to explore.

We truly loved our stay!
My daughter and I stayed in the small studio. The studio was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was super comfortable. The location is convenient and located near restaurants, shops, and attractions.

We were offered to leave our bags before checkin so we did. But then when we came back to get the bags no one answered the door for 40 mins. Very stressful

A full door on the shower would be better so that water didn’t go all over the floor

Since it is situated on a Main Street, I’ve noticed the traffic noises becoming a bit more annoying.
This is a nice place to stay in Lisbon. Well located near most tourist destinations. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

People mentioned in other reviews that it's noisy, well you can't expect anything less if you book a room in the middle of an old city. Sure it's noisy, earplugs easily do the trick. A small fridge would have been nice in the room, but overall, great hotel.
Staff was super friendly and welcoming. The room is much bigger than it looks on the images and it is in the very center of Lisbon. Also, clean and well-equipped bathroom.

None... we got everything we needed for our 4 night stay.
Excellent location... tram almost at front door, Sé Cathedral across from the guest house... 5min walk from Perreiro metro station where we arrived from airport. Very good communication with Diego... very friendly host. We had the kitchenette... complimentary water on arrival. The a/c was working good. Good water pressure in shower. A few minutes walk to the pick-up point for our daytrips... Will recommend... we had a lovely stay!

The floor had a polished plaster type finish which had cracked and broken at the foot of the bed so that there was a 10-15cm diameter hole a few cm deep where the plaster had broken off. There were several broken pieces of plaster in the hole and more of the edge broke off when I stepped on it, which in bare feet was quite irritating.
Helpful staff and a great location. My room wasn't ready when I arrived so the friendly lady at reception put my bag in storage so I could do my afternoon sightseeing as planned.
