If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place, Herdade Ribeira it is. Very nice house, comfortable, tastefully furnished and clean. The communication via phone or text message is working great, breakfast with fresh products is delivered in the morning around 9:30 - you can choose the day before from a menu. We spent three nights and left the house only for swimming in the pool and one trip to Evora.

Bungalows need work. The zipper would get stuck, the plastic was sunburnt and yellow making it hard to see through. Being near the road, hear a lot of cars passing. We were looking for a weekend of calm and relaxation but the last two nights, heard a lot of noise from a large group of people staying in the house. Music late at night. At the pool, extremely loud which I found to be disrespectful.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was very nice and calm with adequate variety.

The whole experience was great! It’s lovely to sleep on the domes where you can just sit and watch the stars at night. There are animals at the property very friendly. The staff were amazing from the second we arrived and were at a text message distance

Kitchen lacked few items, sharp knife, veg peeler, oven gloves. Some staff didn't speak any English. Booklet on house was in Portuguese only . Not difficult to leave an English copy . The pool we had to use was the top one which was a walk to get there and was mainly used by couples. Would have been more sensible to make us use the lower pool , used by the other houses which tended to have kids in them.

Breakfast was good but after 10 days was a bit monotonous. Delivered at 9 am each day which was good time for us. Lovely location. Nice house, nicely decorated, comfy beds. Two large pools , sun loungers were allocated to each rental house which was a great idea.Would definitely recommend this place.

We went during winter and room temperature was cold (central heating kept switching off). Right after checking in, staff went away home we were left alone in a large remote property, with all services/living rooms closed and only access to your room. If any assistance needed we had to make phone call. Room was not cleaned up during our two day stay.

Location was good if you seek remoteness, silence and nature. Rooms were very clean and staff was friendly. Nice Alentejo landscape.

Idyllic! We loved our two-night stay in one of the Domes, surrounded by wildflowers and wildlife - including nightingales! Breakfast (and dinner) was delicious. The stylish swimming pool was an added bonus. Thank you to the team at Herdade Ribeira de Borba for your friendly welcome.

Glamping in our opinion has nothing to do with a sophisticated stay. We missed the possibility to open a window or doors to have a direct access to the terrace. The air condition has to work the whole time to have the feeling that the ventilation is ensured. The bathroom is very small and you feel like in a bathroom in the airplane.

We like a lot the location, the views, the concept of serving dinner. We have enjoyed the pool and were happy that there were enough sunbeds for everybody. The stuff is very nice and polite.
