I really liked the location and the unity with nature. We enjoyed the conversations of the birds. We got pleasure and inspiration. If there is an opportunity, we will come to this beautiful place again.

The accommodation was spacious and well-equipped; perfect for a self-catering experience. The farm provided many opportunities to appreciate the surrounding nature, with views from the terrace roof showing the surrounding water bodies and the bird-life. I was a big fan of the freedom to explore the farm with the provided bicycles, which my partner and I took advantage of almost every day. The pleasant, hot weather during our stay also meant we could fully enjoy the outdoor pool. The location of the farm also meant easy access to main roads for day trips, and the drive to Faro free city parking was quick and easy. I would definitely recommend a hire car for your stay to make the most of it. Thanks to Pedro for all the information about local activities and food places, and for being an excellent host.

The accommodation is central but recommend taxi/Uber. The apartment was situated near the pool area and my grown up kids were in apartments across the property which they could get to on bikes provided. Great is your young and fit, and it’s day light but more tricky in the dark with a few drinks! Pool area was excellent as bbq and games provided too. All in all this was a great wee find, I’d go back and recommend it to family and friends.

Kitchen and bathroom area are a bit tired looking, fresh seals and grout would make it brighter and cleaner.

As in the photo, if you are a person who likes nature, you will immediately find yourself immersed in a beautiful nature reserve. In just 10 minutes by car from the center, you can walk among olive trees, friendly horses, buffaloes ... an infinite variety of birds to listen to at night and observe during the day. Also if you do not want to move from the property, you can go cycling among the salt flats, horseback riding, play table football, ping pong or relax in the pool. The clean house is equipped with everything. Pedro is infinitely kind and professional, he recommended many places to visit and was there to make sure we did not lack anything. It was a dream to live in the countryside and in a strategic point between Faro, Lagos and Sevilla. Returning to Faro is definitely returning to Pedro. Thank you

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful hotel in Portugal – everything exceeded our expectations. Carlos and Pedro provided exceptional service and hospitality, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout. The house was stunning, spotlessly clean, full of character, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, creating a peaceful and luxurious atmosphere. We couldn’t fault a thing and are already looking forward to returning – a truly unforgettable experience that we’d highly recommend to anyone.

Very nice, peaceful environment with animals and nature. Pedro does everything he can to make the guests feel comfortable. There are bikes that can be used to explore the farm (and it is worth doing so), but it is good to know that these can only be used within the farm, as there is no bike path to get into Faro.

Pedro was the most gracious, friendly of hosts. Always on hand should there be anything you need. The location was superb with beautiful walks, bikes to cycle and we made use of a wonderful horse ride. A wonderful place to relax outside of the centre of Faro. We didn't require a car as Uber was always readily available for a small price. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

I was extremely happy with the location of the little house I was given. I lies in the middle of fish ponds away from everything and yet only a short drive from Faro. My rating reflects the tranquility and privacy that this house has offered. That's what made all the difference compared to other accommodation. The house offers no luxury but had all the basics for a pleasant stay.

A unique and extraordinary place at the real edge of Ria Formosa. It is a silent place to calm down and find your inner peace. Easy to get to Faro by rental car, Uber or taxi. We appreciated our stay and Pedro was always approachable to support us whatever needed.

Beautiful compact villa, with all the essentials, Pedro is so helpful and a true gentleman, Peaceful and secluded, but close to lots of things, Perdo provided bicycles and uber is so cheap car was not required

It was conveniently located and had all the amenities needed- laundry, kitchen, pool, free secured parking, space.

We booked the cottage with an ocean view. It is remote in the sense that nothing is around it but marsh, water, animals, and other wildlife, but in the distance you can see the city of Faro. It is a great place to stay if you want to get away but not be far away. Very peaceful and beautiful with generous, communicative hosts. The cottage is unique--an old caretakers house that has been renovated with a tiny, serviceable kitchen and a shower room with an external entrance. Fabulous rooftop terrace and you have full use of the sparkling pool and social area closer to the main house. We really enjoyed chatting with host Pedro and his family, and meeting the horses and dogs on property. If you are a 'planespotter' you will enjoy the airplanes landing and taking off from Faro airport nearby. Such a lovely stay we can't wait to return.

We don't have any negatives for this property. We mentioned a few additions to the cabin that we thought might make future guest stays better, and Pedro was great at listening to our thoughts.

Comfortable apartment in the midst of a plain full of storks flamingos and other birds. Perfect for morning and evening walks with our dog. Very near the beautiful towns of Faro and Olhao and not too far from Tavira Made a one day trip to Sagres an a stop in Alvor and Sines
