Sun loungers very hard and easily breakable. Event at the existing restaurant, without us being previously informed, invading the same lounge pool space, causing very noise (music, people and kids) and with privacy invasion.

A piece of heaven. Awesome breakfast and staff. Often very quiet, listening birds sound. Reasonable pool.

I didn't like that some stuff didn't work properly when we arrived, but I'd like to leave the note that as soon as we mentioned this things to Pedro he fixed it right away!

I liked the whole environment, but I really liked that we had air conditioning everywhere in the house. And also Pedro was exceptional, a really key member of the staff.

We traveled by motorcycle and stayed at this hotel – everything was absolutely perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We especially appreciated the safe parking and the peaceful surroundings, which made for a relaxing stay after a long ride. Highly recommended for anyone traveling through the area – whether on two wheels or four!

Only a small point that in our particular accommodation the bedroom was quite small, yet the bathroom was massive in comparison.

Amazing grounds including a lake as part of the property. The swimming pool was nice and staff helpful. It is very isolated which is relaxing, but there really is nothing else around. However can recommend the on site restaurant, the food was excellent, good value and kind waitress.

There was a marriage party ongoing on the weekend which caused a lot of noise. Apparently the place is frequently rented for marriage parties.

When we arrived on Sunday, there was a very large party taking place and there were no staff on reception. Our evening meal was wonderful but it was still very noisy with lots of people going to and fro past our table to access the toilets and bar which spoilt the occasion for us. We learnt that it can be like that most weekends so if you want peace and quiet probably best avoided. We did suggest that residents could dine in a separate room which they are now looking into because they are aware of this problem . Our next day was lovely and peaceful however.

A lovely setting, with great local wildlife, room was great and spacious and a very handy location to go off exploring. Food was excellent.

We only stayed for one night on our long drive from Bilbao to our house on the Silver Coast. The whole hotel is completely charming and quirky, set in the middle of a fantastic rural landscape which calms your soul after a 650km drive. The double bedroom was very comfortable and dinner at the restaurant was both excellent and reasonably priced. Similarly, breakfast was very enjoyable and plentiful. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Altogether a memorable stay.

Very cheap fixtures and fittings. Tv was the cheapest you can buy, the toilet bin had rust on it, the shower tray was very poor quality plastic and the toilet paper was horrendous. They couldn't even get clothes hangers to match. The toilet seat wasn't soft closing.

It's beautiful, incredibly peaceful and the staff is more than welcoming. FANTASTIC Restaurant and very nice breakfast (I'm on ketogenic diet (no carbohydrates), so usually Portuguese breakfast is not for me, but the staff made it look effortless serving cheeses, eggs and coffee as much as I wanted). My boyfriend could enjoy full breakfast and said the pastries were great too.

Attitude of staff . The accomodation was empty but given smallest room. Personal belongings moved including wallet and pants and left in public corridor.

Beautiful location / surroundings and environment. Very quit area. Nice pool. Good restaurant (very good breakfast too) Rooms are also ready, complete, clean and spacious. Friendly people. Very recommendable place!!
