We couldnt sleep because the room was too hot and there was a lot of street noise. But then we realized we had to close all the windows, we turned on the AC and everything was perfect. Also, the elevator was kind of old.

Beds were comfortable, location was perfect, good breakfast, nice views from the room.

Yes, the view of the inner courtyard is of a dilapidated building, but who cares when you're out exploring the city all day, the only thing that matters is that when you come back in the evening, everything is clean and tidy in the room.

Very pleasant surprise. reading the previous comments I was a little worried, but everything turned out great and exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic, the breakfast is excellent, very tidy rooms, towels changed every day, very friendly staff.

Bad neighborhood with sketchy characters around but they keep their distance so overall SAFE.

The location is excellent. Rooms are cleaned daily. Many restaurants, shops & supermarkets nearby. Decent breakfast ❤️

It's a good choice for solo travelers. The position is covenant, it's walking distance of everything. The room was comfortable, with all the basic necessities.

The shower should have a small shelf for guests to put things. Also, having a small power bar near the bed so you can charge your phone would be very convenient.

The room was great! We stayed on the 5th floor and had a beautiful view of the castle! It’s in a really central location too, so you can easily find restaurants or walk around easily. Loved the breakfast buffet, and the staff were super nice and helpful! Just a note to other travellers: As most old building in Europe, the elevator is not at the entrance. You will need to go up 2 flights of stairs to reach the elevator. Which is perfectly fine in my opinion. However, If those stairs do you in, you’re probably in the wrong city anyway😂 Overall we were very happy with our stay, and I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

The beds are very hard and not comfortable at all. It's also not soundproof, you can hear the loud street noises and the nearby rooms/upper floor.

Great location, close to a metro station and train station. Also at a short walking distance of many of Lisbon's highlights and many restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly, helpful and the hotel is kept very clean.

Stairs to carry luggage up and down . The fear of the crime outside with drug addicts and homeless . Hear them fighting outside my window .

The room sloped and I felt weirdly dizzy at times. Also, the situation on the street with loud homeless people kept me awake. I was going to ask for a quieter room but only stayed 2 nights. The second night the police had to break up a fight. It was disturbing and troubling

Just a recommendation for the property not to use that overpowering air freshner at the entrance.

Great location, very near Figueira Square where you can catch buses or the Metro, or reach the main attractions on foot.

It was extremely basic - like a blank canvas- no cups in the room , no kettle, no fridge only a couple of coat hangers. There is a lift/ elevator but didn’t say you had to carry your bags 3 flights of stairs to get to it. Definitely not advisable to stay if you can’t manage stairs

It was a great location but that meant sometimes it was a little loud at night when everyone was leaving the bars but it didn’t last all night.

I would definitely recommend as a 10/10 but beware the many many stairs if you are traveling with heavy bags!

We stayed in one of the bright modern apartments in Rua Augusta. Brilliant location! Even though it's right on a busy street, the windows keep out the noise. The check-in staff were wonderful - so friendly and helpful. The luggage storage really helped us on our last day.

4th floor without elevator :-) Nice excercise for us but for someone it could be a real problem.

Appartment was spacious, modern and designed well. It was clean and well equipped. Ideal for longer stays or stay in the group. Location could not be better. Eventhough we were on the Rua de Augosto, the appartment was well isollated from the outside noise.
