Very comfortable bed, quiet place

There was a smell of sulphur in the bathroom. We kept the bathroom door shut and it was okay.

It is a lovely quiet location. Great place to relax and rest. Breakfast was good with meat, cheese, bread, cake, fruit, yogurt, Expresso, coffee and teas.The pool and the surrounding gardens are beautiful. The room was clean wirh simple furniture.

It was noisy on the evening until after midnight but this was from something outside. Strange as it was out of town and in a semi rural spot.

Lovely helpful staff with good recommendations. The breakfast was better than expected with homemade cake too.

Didn't particularly like the bathroom, no hot water at some stage, and there wasn't much comfort in there. Had some cockroaches in the room. Would have been nice to have some kind of living room area.

A nice quiet hotel with plenty of space and rooms located on the outskirts of Evora city. 5 minute drive. The staff were lovely, very helpful and like extended family. Good for families. Had a pool out the back, unfortunately weather wasn't warm enough. Pleny of space to park your car.

The major drawback for me was the lack of an English speaker at the property. I had read that you could walk into town and that would have been preferable to the nightmare of trying to find a parking place but there was no one who could give me the necessary directions.

This was a very nice family hotel which was outside the center of town. It was quiet and restful. Breakfast was included and it had a lot of choices.

The room was a little noisy--you could here the shower and the toilet flush in the next room. But we slept great!

The location was convenient for our needs--not in the city center, more on the outer loop. The bed was comfortable and the towels fluffy. The breakfast was good-homemade pastries and fresh-squeezed oj.

The only thing I would say, although we were late in the season, would be a couple of extra choices of hot food at breakfast, but it didn't spoil our stay whatsover as the choice of breakfast items on offer were great.

Location was great, a little outside the city into the country but only a few minutes by car into the centre and a wonderful view of the city from our balcony. Rooms were comfortable with enough space for our needs. Breakfast was good and the hotel owner, her husband and their staff were welcoming and very helpful. The swimming pool, whilst a little chilly, was a great bonus. We had the pool area to ourselves on our recent visit.

We stayed in two different rooms as we ended up extending our stay and had to move out of our first (no biggee). Our first room was quite dark, second a bit brighter. Very few outlets in either room. There are no restaurants or stores nearby within walking distance. We knew this ahead of time so found a grocery store right after checking in. The location of the hotel and the availability of parking were important factors for us, so this was a good choice for our needs.

Comfortable beds, helpful staff, plenty of parking - free! - great breakfast, good views. We stayed a little ways out of town intentionally to avoid driving into old town Evora. It was very easy to find the free parking lot just outside of the city walls and then walk into the town (I have some mobility issues and managed just fine).

Hotel was a short drive from town, but was well worth it. The beds were extremely comfortable, staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good. we enjoyed the light/bright breakfast area, as well as the balcony in the evening looking back at the castle. Great value in my opinion.

The only negative was the lack of electric sockets. We managed by charging our various electronic items one by one (it can be done). WiFi is only available in reception/dining room, etc.

The mattress and pillows were exceptionally comfortable - all memory foam I believe. This was great as our previous three nights were spent on a less-than-comfortable mattress. We had a warm welcome from the owners/managers, which was really nice in this day and age. Breakfast was varied and ample, with more food being brought out continually. My partner doesn't drink coffee and it was no trouble at all for a member of staff to find English teabags and a kettle for hot water. There is plenty of free parking within the hotel grounds and it is within walking distance of Evora (about 2.5 km) so you can avoid driving into the busy city if you wish (we walked). We could actually see the cathedral from our room.

Room was a bit noisy. Extraneous noise could be heard from the adjacent room and from some sort of music that was playing locally. The pillow provided was terrible.

Instant coffee at breakfast! Although I think you can ask to be made a nice coffee It's a little out of town but we just walked in - it's not far so not a problem

Would ask for more veggie options at breakfast. I was also hoping for Portuguese tarts at breakfast.

I’m glad I stayed here. It says 3 stars but it felt like more. Nice staff, comfortable bed, clean room, full length mirrors, enjoyed the view from my room, good location (easy for me to get to the places I needed to get to via Bolt/Uber). For those who aren’t morning people, the shutters provide you with a blacked out room for undisturbed sleep (at least from sunlight).
