Our room had a small problem with ants, so any food we left out (e.g. a banana) attracted lots of them.

Spectacular ocean view, easy to use AirCon, comfy beds, and wonderful staff.

Comfortable and quiet stay, excellent breakfast, and easy access to the beautiful sea. The sea temperature was sweet, the water was clear, and the fish life great! The hotel staff noted our wedding anniversary stay and return visit, with some very thoughtful touches.

The restaurant is way too expensive for the quality offered and the prices in Madeira.

Great hotel in a beautiful location. Excellent breakfast. Free access to a sports center with gym, pool and Pilates classes.

Everything was perfect

Very new building, big rooms, huge bathroom. Nice garden with swimming pool and private beach. Breakfast buffet is amazing

Breakfast was crowded. Perhaps limiting it to guests at Galomar only would help. The sheets had some stains and the room could be cleaned/vacuumed a little better. However, it it always done in a timely fashion.

The room given had a side sea view. This was nice. Breakfast and dinner was nice with good variety. Overall would recommend for a great experience in Madeira!

Upstairs pool seems a little dirty and trashcan are really small and inconvenient for a week stay.

Amazing views and pools also the spa and the fact that you can access to the other resort is nice.

Elevators are small and you have to find routes through the hotel complex to the restaurants

Beautiful setting and very comfortable rooms. Appreciated access to a health club with indoor pool and spa. The staff are excellent- helpful, efficient and kind.

We were a couple and only received one card, which was okay for most of the trip, but the hotel requires an access card for almost every door and area, which made it challenging when one of us wanted to go out to explore while the other wanted to rest in the room, as it would mean to cut the energy supply of the room. Also, I wish the room's balcony was a non-smoking area. If it is, we were unlucky with our neighbor. We didn't get to enjoy that area so much because he was always smoking there. Also, opening the door would let the smoke into the room. The beds were okay, a bit on the soft side. Luckily, they were not super soft, so I was able to sleep, but I wish they were a bit firmer.

- The staff in the hotel was super friendly, and they always folded our pajamas, which was an amazing touch. - The breakfast selection was fantastic, there is food for all tastes. We stayed a full week and never felt bored with the selection. They also have an ingenious solution to prevent pigeons on the restaurant's balcony. - We loved that the hotel was "Adults only", so we actually got some calm to relax away from toddlers crying.

Beach access was not straightforward. Slightly complex architecture (was able to figure out in a couple of days 😅)
