It was homely & comfortable being in an historic manor with authentic furnishings and atmosphere . Nice outlook. Staff were caring & helpful . Restaurant was good with various options dining inside or on the terrace . Good breakfast. Pool was refreshing to cool off in the heatwave . Air conditioning was not working well due to the high temperatures but the staff swapped our room to a lower level which was cooler . Bed comfy . Parking onsite

The aircon wasn’t too cool. Most likely the weather (35-40c during the day) did not help at all. I think another reviewer has also mentioned about the aircon. Probably time to get it serviced.

Super cute setup with some lounges to sit together, outdoor dining area and balcony on our room with beautiful view. The reception who checked us in and out was very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

sometimes erratic WiFi and not extra strong air-condition (in some rooms), breakfast offer could be else more rich (for example some vegetables, regional cheeses etc), restaurant is good but quite expensive

Great stay in an historical Quinta, with panoramic landscape around. We stayed there after a wedding reception in their venue and was the best choice. The rooms are super big and comfortable, fully equipped. The hotel is modernized but keeps the historical vibe and decoration, which gives it character We couldn't use the pool (in may it was still closed) but it looks fantastic!

The room was very spacious, really clean and stylish. Bathroom was great, excellent power shower. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice.

When I arrived to check in, there was no one at the registration and I had to wait about 15 minutes until someone came.. they also charge 20 euros per night for 1 pet, which is really expensive! The bed was pushed together from 2 smaller and the mattress kept separating all night..

The wifi could have been better.

The staff were friendly, the food and service in the restaurant was great and mainly full of locals enjoying a family meal. The gardens were well cared for and the decor was authentic. I like the fact there was plenty of parking for guests and visitors.

The knob in the bathtub to get water to the shower was broken so. O possibility to get a shower in the morning

The room, the view and the surroundings are very nice. The restaurant is fantastic amazing food and very good size of the portions. The wine recommendation was perfect a very nice Douro wine at a very acceptable cost.

It is a very grand building in a gorgeous setting. The interior is a mix of antiques with mid-century modern decor. Dinner on the terrace and it’s overhead fairy lights was a real treat.

Efficient and friendly staff. Splendid views, lovely gardens well tended. Good free parking. Bedroom: excellent bed, good bathroom. Good and varied breakfast included. Hotel keeps improving the installations, as a very old palace is always difficult to change in a instant.
