Overall a fantastic place but for folks to be aware: for those staying on the top floor, note that the lift only goes to the 4th floor and you have to take stairs to the last floor (in case you have mobility concerns). This is europe so expect some areas to be a little tight (i.e. the elevator was small and the balcony couldn't really comfortably fit two people sitting there), but the overall room size was great and the bed huge!

The breakfast is great (quality bread, pancakes, fruits, eggs to order, granola, yogurt, juice, pastry, etc) and available at an early hour (7:30 start time) so you can get out for a full day of activities. the staff were superb: extremely friendly, helpful and responsive. They provided us with a super thoughtful welcome note mentioning our anniversary (the purpose of our trip) and also a bottle of wine. We appreciated the around the clock offering of wine, fruit and coffee. Though the location is super close to a lot of the night life, noise was not an issue. It's also located right across the street from the delicious and convenient time out market (which on certain days is a farmers market) and less than a mile walk from rossio station (i.e. if you want to take a day trip via train to sintra). It's also very close to the water for an evening stroll or an early morning run.

Beautifully fitted out with attention to detail. From the wonderful welcome upon arrival to the location across the road from the Time Out market, this is a superb hotel. We love small boutique hotels and this one is gorgeous;

Location was great, Staff were even better they were very helpful and welcoming . In a busy area opposite time out market but inside was very quiet and we enjoyed a comfortable nights sleep

The water from the shower kept leaking on the floor. So when I stepped on the towel out of the shower, it was often soaked. I probably should have let someone know but I kept forgetting every time I was leaving the hotel. 😐

The hospitality was great. All the receptionists were so helpful and kind. The room had great shelving in the room and bathroom.

Booked for the end of tour solo stay. Amazing location near Time Out Market, Pink street and Cais do Sodre train station (metro and main line out to Cascais) - also the ferry terminal but I didn't use. The local area has plenty of really good restaurants, cafes, plus Time Out Market (handy for solo eaters) and is lively (and safe) at night to walk around. I stayed in one of the Loft rooms which had two balconies (one with two chairs and table) to enjoy. The doors also had good glazing so when closed any street noise was not heard. Room was very spacious, good aircon (visited during the heatwave), very nice bathroom with great spacious shower, large comfortable bed, lots of power points and soft lights. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and very helpful with anything you needed to know about what to do in Lisbon. Also as staying on the 5th floor, the elevator only goes up to the 4th, the staff were very helpful with my luggage even though I was not expecting that at all, but was appreciated. Good breakfast, eggs can be ordered to preference and plenty of toast, cake, fruit, yogurt and coffee. Really enjoyed my stay and would stay again when in Lisbon. Thanks.

Rooms can always be bigger, why not =)

In an unbelievable location, everywhere is a cocktail bar, mid to high-end restaurants and walkable touristic attractions. Clean, ordered, compact, useful rooms with lots of gifts in them, that are waiting for you when you check in, from t-shirts to notebooks, thanks for all, we will remember you guys a lot longer with those. Normal international breakfast with whatever you can think of. Plus, whenever you want, you have coffee, wine and water. Thank you for the great couple of days. Surely if I ever visit Lisboa again, I will stay here, no need for any adventure.

WHAT A FIND...WONDERFUL LOCATION, BATHROOM LARGE. STAFF WAS GREAT, READY WITH RECOMMENDATIONS, WINE EVERY EVENING, GREAT CHATS WITH GEORGE. BREAKFAST WAS NICE.

I honestly can't think of anything that I would change.

Dare Lisbon River was an excellent hotel. It was charming, clean, and in an excellent location. The rooms were surprisingly quiet for being above a bar AND it being Gay Pride weekend. We heard a few street sounds, but nothing remarkable. We would absolutely stay here again.

The only thing was the shower was very leaky however we still loved the room and the hotel overall.

It’s in an amazing location (close to everything), literally 10 steps away from time out market! The hotel also feels very secure and safe as you need your key card to even get into the hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable.

The venue, staff, facilities were excellent, could not fault. The staff were always attentive to our needs and extremely friendly, engaging and made you feel welcome at all time. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary wine each night.

There is nothing not to like to be honest.

Staff were all incredible, really nicely styled hotel, feels like a small haven in the city, their current “free wine” policy is a great touch, I hope that they can keep it going and it doesn’t get abused because it’s a lovely touch. Jorge was a true gentleman and was always on hand with anything you could need.

Our room was a little on the small side

The staff were great, Sara was super helpful with check in, sharing areas to tour and things to see. Fa’bio was great in helping with restaurants and instructions on the train. Gorge was smooth on the check out!

The surrounding area was busy with traffic with the very popular Time Out Market across the street, but it was also convenient to easily access all types of extraordinary cuisine.

A very tastefully furnished boutique hotel. It had all the amenities to make your trip comfortable and convenient and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was abundant and varied. It was nice to have access to complimentary wine, expresso, hot chocolate at all hours. HIGHLY recommend to travelers.

The room was quiet small, for one or two night perfect but for a longer stay a bit to small. It was also a bity noisy from outside / neighbours upstairs.

We really loved this stay! The interior was beautiful, breakfast very delicious with healthy options and the location perfect. Everyone from the staff was so kind & helpful. Recommending staying here <3

We loved everything!

The staff was exceptional! They were approachable and would listen to what we wanted to do and really worked to make that possible! We had great conversation with the staff. They took the time to make connections. Having the water, wine, espresso, and fruit was wonderful. We really felt like we were home! The room was very comfortable. The location was central to everything! We walked everywhere and the location of the hotel gave us the opportunity to see so much of Lisbon!

Great boutique hotel. Very close to all transport (rail /ferry/ bus/ tram), across from Time Out Market. Staff were very accomodating and attended to any small problems immediately. They gave very helpful advice on how to get around Lisbon and the sites to visit. Breakfast excellent.
