Hearing the toilet flushing from neighbouring rooms and other sounds. If the hotel were to be refurbished again I would recommend the adjoining room walls be sound proofed. Other than that, it’s a great hotel in a perfect location.

Some helpful suggestions to consider. A mini fridge in room would be a bonus plus small tea kettle. More umbrellas are needed at pool so that guest can get shade from the sun.

The property has an interesting and historic history. An outgoing and friendly owner and staff. My room was large and comfortable with everything I needed for an excellent adventure. The breakfast buffet was top with many items to choose from. Including Organic. The pool was cool for hot day's. Location Optimal for exploring Serta and beyond.

It was all good.

The convent is located in a quiet neighbourhood near the river. Our room was comfortable with a small terrace that we used a lot. The staff was helpful and kind, with good advice about nearby places to visit. Breakfast was very good.

Nothing to not love!

This hotel is truly stunning, featuring wonderful staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, providing the perfect environment for a restful night’s sleep. Mornings are delightful with a delicious breakfast, and the location couldn't be better—just a short walk to a variety of restaurants. Additionally, it's a cyclist-friendly establishment, equipped with a secure, indoor space to keep bikes safe. We stayed here while completing the N2, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone undertaking the journey or simply seeking an outstanding place to stay while visiting Sertã. It's a gem you won’t want to miss!

Nothing—I could have happily stayed longer.

I enjoyed a lovely stay at this converted convent. I chose it as a place to stop on my road trip down the historic N2 highway due to its pet-friendly status. I expected a small plain room, but instead was treated to a beautiful, well-appointed one. I would happily return for a spa stay (they have multiple options on site) or even a few days to explore the area further. My room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. It even included a small balcony. The hotel is beautifully appointed, and I love how they included many of the original features into the design of the property. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and there is ample free parking on the grounds.

We would love to come back....what more can I say! The staff were so lovely, and the room was really comfortable. Sertã is a lovely town to stroll around, and a good base for hiking too!

Cold, cold, cold. The room was cold when we first arrived though we do appreciate that the heating is not turned on until the room is booked, and we do same day bookings. But even the public areas are cold. We stayed during winter, but do feel the overall comfort of temperatures should be addressed.

Beautiful old building converted to modern standards. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms are large with plenty of light. On one side there is a lovely view of the river. Free coffee and fruit continuously available. Breakfast choice extremely good. Slightly lacking atmosphere which, we personally feel, could be addressed by adding more paintings and colour. But overall a nice hotel.

It is a gorgeous, well-run, super clean hotel in a prime location. I wish I could have stayed a second night to explore Serta and the surrounding areas. Unfortunately, the hotel was completely booked out. The breakfast was amazing.

The pool was pretty cold, but still nice.

A beautiful place to stay, town was a short walk away with lots to see, and with plenty of places to eat. The breakfast was the usual buffet fare. The staff were attentive and responsive to all needs.

The USB port in the room wasn’t working, highlighted the issue but had my phone charged at reception.

The location was ideal, very central to lot of amenities. Excellent breakfast choices. Most of all , the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
