Located in the quiet coutryside. The house is imaculately kept. It is exceptionally clean and the host is very friendly. Breakfast was spectacular. The pool is small, just the right size to cool off and relax, the rooms are beautiful, fully remodeled while maintianing traditional arquitecture. It is a short drive to Elvas or to Spain. There are good restaurants close by if you don't want to go far. I really can't think of anything that wasn't perfect on this property. This place exceeded my expectations. A true gem.

We were 4 and we could not all shower one after the other because we would star out of hot water, so we would need to wait a little between shower. But the rest was amazin

Lovely dream house in a lovely area. Very peaceful and quiet. The elderly lady who takes care of the house is very helpful and friendly. She asked whether we wanted supper and we told her we’d be going back to Elvas however a storm broke out so we decided to stay in and within a few minutes she prepared some supper for us.

The owner was so welcoming and accommodating. She asked us if we wanted dinner. She cooked us an amazing bacalhau dinner that was wonderful. Her breakfast was fabulous as well. She cooked us scrambled eggs along with the other items of fruits, juices, croissants, meats and cheeses.

What an amazing find, breakfast and dinner were fabulous. We loved it and Elvas is such an amazing little town with loads of history,w e will be back to explore further, 1 night not enough.

There was nothing that we did not like.

An absolute gem of a place. Small but beautiful facilities, lovely scenic and tranquil location, and the lady proprietor mad us the most fantastic meal in the evening and not expensive. Breakfast was also good. She could not communicate in English and we could not in Portuguese but we all tried our best and got by. The most fantastic bottle of local wine which was one of the best wines we have ever had and we have not been able to source locally to where we are now. All just perfect and a perfect stop-off place between France and Portugal.

A small gem just outside Elvas! Beautiful house and rooms. We were very well received and had one of the best dinners on our trip! Real homemade local food at its best. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.The hostess/owner was so friendly and you immediately felt at home.

The drive was a little tricky with a large car but we managed.

Modern facilities in a traditional property in a rural setting. Bed, shower, room all excellent. Dinner was simple but lovely and very good value. The breakfast was really great. Beautifully presented and all very tasty. Great with our dog too.

Nothing - everything was perfect

Absolutely everything! Adelaide was the most amazing host. We couldn’t ask for anything more. She cooked us a beautiful breakfast in the morning (croissant, cheese, prosciutto, scrambled egg, toast, spreads) and made us a delicious dinner at night. She was so lovely and accomodating. If we ever come back to Elvas we will be coming back here!

Adelaide is a brilliant host. The hotel is very clean and the location is ideal to relax. Great stay. We had dinner in the hotel, and is like as we were at our grandma's house. And is pet friendl too. Brilliant. .
