We had a wonderful stay here. Christina and her husband are excellent hosts, very caring and go above and beyond. Beautiful garden with pool. We used it as a base to explore Peniche, Ericiera, Lisbon etc. It was like home from home, except for Christina's lovely home bakes! Thanks

Ana Cristina was a wonderful host since the very first moment we arrived to her accomodation. Really friendly, polite and helpful, plus she gave us tips about close restaurants and locations to visit. The pool is great too for a quick swim and the location really quiet and peaceful. Totally recommended. If we are coming back to Portugal soon, I won't hesitate to double check if her accomotation is available. Obrigado/ Gracias por todo.

When we arrived for our five night stay we were greeted by the owners William and Anna who were so welcoming and friendly, lovely people. We stayed in the annex at the far end of the beautiful gardens surrounding the lovely swimming pool. The accommodation was very comfortable and provided us with everything we required for a self catering stay. The area enabled us to travel by car and public transport to visit all the sites i.e. Mafra, Sintra and Lisbon. What we enjoyed was the fact we could go visit these places but had a great place to come back to and relax, it was lovely and quiet. Big bonus was Anna baked us little treats each morning, wonderful. Highly recommend. Thanks to you both for a great stay. Ian and Steff.

I didn't like the fact I should have booked myself in for a longer stay.

I liked everything about it, very tranquil location slightly off the mainstream track just the way I like it. Perfect for a solo traveler or couple. Supermarket about 10 minute walk down the road and I could cook myself due to a kitchen and facilities. Hosts are very welcoming, friendly and are big animal lovers. Its like a mini zoo, Carp pond, cats, parrot, budgies, tortoise and frogs. The parrot is awesome and with the added bonus of a swimming pool.

Wonderful stay super clean and friendly owner. Gorgeous home with a swimming pool. Perfect location as we rented a car from Lisbon and arrived late so wanted to stop over on the way to Coimbra. Easy access to the main A8.

It was such a pleasant stay in this lovely house, Ana and her husband are very kind and helpful. Everything is so tidy and clean, there's also harmony with nature(fish, cats, lemon trees and other flowers and plants). I'm missing this atmosphere already! Hope to have another chance to see them again!

We did not expect a shared bathroom and toilet (this info is not clear upon reservation). Also, there was a heavy smell of Naphthalin in the kitchen and hallway.

Very nice and quiet place. Large room with antique furniture. Very welcoming staff. Kitchen equipped with everything we needed (including a coffee machine and a washing machine). Beautiful garden just outside the room.
