The design is absolutely amazing, it has a rustic look, very comfortable and cousy place. Surrounded by nature and absolutely awesome if you are looking for relaxing days. Top place!

Slightly difficult mountainous entrance, AC was not working for 2 days in summer which was little disappointing but we managed with the fans

Some lights inside the kitchen / living rooms space always flickered and dimmed without warning, then came back up. So maybe the bulbs need to be changed.

The hosts were very helpful, especially regarding check in and check out times. The bread and cakes they gifted us were very good. The house is so peaceful and we loved the mood/decoration. The pool and the view were beautiful.

For a small country side house, there are 3 things I would like to highlight. The first is the kitchen that is really well equipped which allowed us to cook at home instead of going out. The second is the pool, it's a pool without chemicals, the water comes from a well of the property. Finally and the greatest surprise is the bathrooms that are integrated in the room in an open space dynamic, it might sound strange but once you understand you can take a bath with a view for the landscape you might change your opinion.

Francisco nicely let us check in early but the 5-8 pm check in time seems a bit late. In the Ocre house, there is a big difference between the two bedrooms. It didn’t matter to us since we were staying for only 2 days but there is no closet nor shelves.

Beautiful location in the Serra de São Mamede, comfortable home with one small private pool for each house. The views are gorgeous and the local dog Goa is adorable. Nice package of local products much appreciated!

Our experience at Vigias house was fantastic. We spent a few days with the family there and had an amazing time. The house had everything we needed and the owner, Francisco, was very attentive and helpful at all time. It is worth noting how spectacular the sky looks at night.

I've traveled a bit... Bali, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, Las vegas, Costa Rica.. many countries in Europe, but this place.... this place is just a jewel! If the aim is to have a relaxed get away with privacy and no confusion, and were all details are worked with care and oriented to guests, this is a place to go. The surroundings are beautiful, many villages, restaurants and activities. A lot of historic monuments.

the only thing that can be better is the "airco" there is some isolation which works with walls etc but there is not an active airco unit. so in the days that it is very hot outside it is also hot inside.

Nothing apart from a separate bathroom would have been useful for our family of four.

The chic design, furniture and equipment made for a very luxurious and relaxing stay. We loved the large beds, the immaculate and well stocked kitchen, and the gorgeous views. The pool in the two bedroom house is bigger than the picture and kept us cool during some exceptionally warm days. The sail shade and welcome gifts were much appreciated. Loved it & really hope to return.

The garden is still growing in, so when we were there it was a bit threadbare. Families with small children would have to be careful around the pool, as it is on the side of the hill.

The house is a beautifully renovated old barn. It's really as nice as the photos look! The pool is really nice. Nice to sit out and enjoy the garden. Well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed meeting Goa the dog. Very peaceful.

There was no hot water. Pool was cold. There is jo AC in bedrooms which majes it gery warm. We couldn't open windows dur to a very loud party nearby which last thd whole night. The road to the house is a serious hazard. The yard looks unfinished and untide. There was no suger for cofee. In one word the inly think that was realy nice is the view.
