Proximity of the house to a main road and car noises during the day and early morning.

We recommend this house for the beautiful location surrounded by mountains and the very-well maintained garden and swimming pool. Rooms are clean, lovely and well-decorated. Friendly staff. Easily accessible parking near the house. Complimentary fruits and coffee during the stay.

Very friendly staff. São Vicente is surrounded by beautiful nature and the Casa da Piedade itself is also really nice looking. Great facilities too and an excellent location for hikes in the nearby area.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful, Fatima greeted us as we arrived so welcoming and warm. The place was gorgeous, our room was a delight and less right into the garden with a pool. Breakfast was delicious, and all the staff were so kind and happy. We will most definitely be back again!

The en suite showerroom was a little tired and needed an update.

A boutique hotel nestled in the hills. Traditional rooms with louvered shutters and net curtains. Lovely outlook across well maintained gardens with ratten seating and a small pool area. Buffet breakfast was nice and the staff really friendly.

The bathroom needs some renovation, but it's understandable, seeing the house is old.

A little haven in nature. So peaceful and nice! The rooms was neatly waiting for us, with a welcome pastry and all. The breakfast is a big plus. The staff pays close attention to each person and make our eggs to our liking. The big plus is also their cat! Such a cutie.

Our stay at this hotel in Madeira was absolutely unforgettable. The hotel itself was incredibly beautiful — from the architecture to the gardens and the breathtaking views all around. The room was tastefully decorated, every detail, from the design to the little touches, added to the overall charm. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and what really stood out was the service — friendly, helpful, and always with a smile. We felt completely relaxed, surrounded by beauty, nature, and peace. Truly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. We truly didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to return to this little piece of paradise!

A piece of heaven around Sao Vicente: a warm welcome, comfortable beds, a cosy house, a beautiful garden with swimming pool, walks and good restaurants (Lilinha!) nearby. I would highly recommend this place.

We liked everything. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff amazing and caring and breakfast was delicious. We even asked for breakfast to take away earlier one day and they prepared it for us.

The room was very comfortable, enough space for all your staff, beds are comfy, breakfast is very good, eggs, baked beans, bacon on order. Pastry, cheese, fruits etc. For me they made the hit with the nespresso machine. Also the garden was beautiful. The only negative side was, our room was on the first floor which is right next to the breakfast room, and of course it is very loud during breakfast, I am a light sleeper, I couldn’t sleep after breakfast starts. Also staff are very nice.

This is probably the best Madeiran spot for a stay and an evening relaxation in the lounge by the fireplace. In addition, a delicious breakfast and very nice service. The highest level of care for guests, hence we highly recommend this place!

Received the most warmest welcome, so many small details (like a taste of wine and pastry served as welcome) that let you know how much they care about their guests. Breakfeast was freshly served and varied. Loved the style of the room and house, the garden and view is also beautiful and can only recommend a walk up to the chapel.
