Really spacious, clean, bright and comfortable. The pool area was really lovely, surrounded by trees and as there are only 4-5 rooms it was never busy. Great location- right next to a bakery and up the road from a supermarket, and great restaurants. Could see the sea from our room and from part of the pool area. Great kitchen area, had everything we needed, and loads of space to sit outside and inside to eat. Also fab to have a garage to park in.

big bright apartment, with high ceiling, sitting in a garden. You can spend time in a patio or in a pool (it is clean and a water is warm). Inside the apartment it is very clean, has everything needed. Self check in, parking place available on request. Walking distance to the city center. Overall great experience!

Even though it was low season the noise from traffic on the roads was quite bad. The quality of the loo paper didn’t quite match the high quality of everything else. Maybe it needs to be very thin for the drains! We did feel that some recommendations could have been given about local restaurants and bars and more detailed descriptions about how to find the parking space and how to work the blinds in the studio with the remote.

Great location - a few minutes walk to the harbour and plenty of good restaurants. Lovely property -well maintained house with individual rooms for guests all with good decor and a bit of character. Excellent comfy beds and good quality bedding. Very good facilities in all areas. The pool was a real bonus. The staff, Lilliana was very helpful and friendly. Using the Hop on and hop off bus into Funchal was an easy and great way to get around. We bought a two day pass plus the tickets for the cable car for 34€ each on the Yellow Bus line. Local buses only cost about 3€ but couldn’t really work out the timetable and where we would get off in Funchal.

This property exceeded our expectations. It was in a great location a few minutes from the harbour, was a lovely old building with modern style and our pool annexe was so tranquil and great being right next to the pool (which no one hardly used but us!). Great communication with the property and simple instructions to gain access.

Absolute gem in such a convenient location, walkable to the town and great transport links to the rest of the island. The house is stunning and it was lovely to have the private pool, which is surrounded by greenery and feels like a little oasis! The room had AC and was incredibly comfortable. There’s even garage parking to keep your rental car safe. We’d definitely stay again!

The place was clean, roomy and conveniently located. There was parking on the property, and a small shared kitchen to store food and make any meals needed. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor seating areas after long days out and about. I would 100% recommend staying here.

I misses nit having a balcony and found not having one restricted, to be fair I booked knowing there was not a balcony, so I would not do that again. The cats drove me mad as they were always at the back door meowing for food, if you went outside onto the patio area they were under your feet and constantly begging even jumping onto my chair, they were next doors cats a who already feeds them.

The house was lovely! The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Although the windows are new & good, sleeping with open windows (if you have sea view) is a bit annoying because of the traffic. The house is at a main street & there are many cars till late… it‘s complaining on a high level in fact!!

A beautiful & special place! Friendly people, wunderful garden & all you need is there. Supermarket very close, view awesome. Beautiful old house in a fresh friendly look, very well renovated and even the neighbours from the other rooms you almost don‘t hear, only bit from the aisle.

Although there is a secure gate you do walk out straight onto the main road - just keep an eye out for when you step out
