Hair dryer didn’t work and the hotel staff didn’t provide another one. Lights were gone one night there was no electricity and no compensation for it

Unfortunately the building work nearby meant we could hear loud digging from 8am-6pm with the exception of their lunch break. Apparently it’s been going on for weeks which I’m surprised is allowed during the busy holiday months. Not the hotels fault and hopefully a temporary issue.

Great views and close by to shops and restaurants. Staff were so friendly, breakfast was very generous and finished at 11am allowing a nice long peaceful morning. Very clean and well looked after.

Housekeeping kept forgetting to put towels. Old beds that make a lot of noise. Bizarre smell in the room Except for Mrs Filipa who helped with the towels every night, staff was distant and cold

Restriction of being any food or drink into the hotel that wasn’t purchased there. Food wasn’t good at the hotel at all and very limited, small portions and over priced. Drinks overpriced also.

Road works happening below, extremely loud noise from 8am - 6pm everyday and no warning prior to arriving or on arrival which was disappointing and made it hard to enjoy sitting out by the pool or on the balcony. There wasn’t an incentive provided to guests either to apologise for the disturbance.

Breakfast was basic I thought. selection of cereals was poor - would like if there was some granola. The hot food was not great. Sausages under cooked. We ordered a toasted sandwich on arrival as our room was not ready. It took 25 minutes to come and it was cold. Very disappointing.

Room was small but fine. Towels were changed every day which was great.

The staff was lovely but the room had a damp smell and paint was coming from the walls in the corridor obviously from the pool above the young lady at reception did not even know where my room was and had to ask an older member of staff when I explained when I checked out there was not a sorry or anything of that nature it was just that we will have a look and we didn't know obviously they knew there was a problem because when they made clean she would have smelt the room and the paint peeling off the walls through damp was a bit of a giveaway

I did like that it was a very quirky Hotel and adults only staff was nice and you had lemon water or port in reception free of charge

you never had to fight over a sunbed around the pool.

property is located in a great position, you don’t get the noise from the bars at 3/4 in the morning, it’s a 5 min walk to old town where you’ll find everything you need. it’s also 5 min walk to the beach.

Room a little dated, wooden door frames to balcony with paint stripping away. Poor bathroom ventilation with mould spotting on the roof. Room 410 a little dark. Air conditioning dated - noisy and not very powerful. No do not disturb signs for door. Uphill trek home from old town.

Excellent view from the sea view rooms. Decent breakfast with plenty of options. Friendly staff. Fresh bottled water daily. Fridge in the room. Quieter area away from party neighbourhoods.
