The stairs was bad to the loft

The apartment is in an old building accessed via stairs, which are shared with other apartments which are higher up. The common area is need of repairs with plaster crumbling in many areas. The wooden stairs can be a hazard, particularly going up because the thread of the step overhangs the riser more than normal. This has cause my party to trip on a few occasions. Views from the rooms are not much to brag about.

The apartment was located in Misericórdia, right in the centre of historic Lisbon. Perfect location, A short walking distance to world famous tourist stops, among others Time Out market and Praça Europa and Cais do Sodré train stop for trains that go almost everywhere in Lisbon. The Blue room is situated on the 1st floor above a Vietnamese restaurant and the address can be particularly hard to find at night because of the crowds of people.The whole area comes alive at night bustling with noise and light. Restaurants, bars and cafes occupy much of the ground floor of all the surrounding properties while the higher floors are converted to accommodate tourists. The apartment itself is old, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. The host has graciously provided capsule of fresh coffee as well as teabags. There is also a convenient 24-hr car park @Mercado da Ribeira, a very,very short distance away for those with cars.

Minor things... The kitchen is a little basic, but all the equipment you could need is there to cook and eat. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator, but the staircase is pretty wide so even if you had suitcases you could get them up without too much hassle.

Comfy beds, heat pumps in the living room and both bedrooms, so very cosy, two sets of keys (which was really convenient), privacy with shutters on the windows, but they still can let some light in. Small balcony with a clothes-rack. Pretty quiet at night - hardly heard a peep at night, though there are the joyful sounds of kids playing off an on during the day... The location was absolutely fabulous!! Walking distance to so many interesting sites, restaurants, bars etc. We'd be happy to stay again!

It’s pretty high up there… so need strong legs lol and stairs going up it’s pretty scary and lights are not really bright

The shower overflowed a little and the stairs up to the property were a bit tricky with a heavy suitcase.

There are bars, resto, pizzeria down the apartment - drunken people gets noisy at night.

Place is very good and clean - perfect for groups. Location is perfect - easy access to metro, bus and tram. We had issue on water supply on our first night but was well addressed well by the caretaker - grateful to Toni and Luis.

Main entrance to the building was dirty because it’s tucked in an alley like corner. It’s a busy location so trash was present morning after a busy nightlife in the area and it smelled kind of bad. I seemed to get cleaned up every day though which was good

Location was great. Communication with host was great. Apartment itself was nice, spacious and clean. It’s an older building and the apartment itself has been updated throughout. Kitchen cabinetry is old but clean and still functional especially if you wont be doing a lot of formal cooking. The building is old and the stair case and common areas are old and not as clean. The building’s main door is tucked in alley like area, so that was the dirtiest and least pleasant part, but we spent all day out and about so overall we had a nice stay. No AC in the rooms but they have fans and that was enough for early July, but something to keep in mind.

Very close to many restaurants and small shops for souvenirs! The apartment was very clean and comfortable for our group of four. The owners were very helpful; keeping our bags for us to enjoy hours exploring without having to carry all of our bags.

we didn't get the email with the address of the apartment and ended up at the business location just as they were leaving for the day so the girl walked us to it which was very kind.

The location is great, although a lot of street noise around during the weekend. There was a festival, but it’s a noisy part of the area. On the other hand, great location for sightseeing and close to train/metro.

Very poor instructions re locating property E-mail with instructions arrived late Called Blue House absolutely no Indication on building. Stairs dirty and very steep Took us 2hrs to locate Very noisy area noise all night

The address was initially provided with latitude and longitude, and they were wrong! Getting hold of the key was an ordeal, besides the key did not work properly. Hot water for the shower was unavailable on the second day. The walls were mostly agglomerated wood with no finalization. No electricity plugs by the bedside. Four flights of stairs dimly light, with open-air plumbing and electricity fixtures. A gentleman, with Booking, by the name of André, did not seem to have the disposition to be of much help. His personality seemed more adequate to a delinquent debt collector than to a hospitality environment.
