Broken lock on the front door is a bit unpleasant thing to deal with. A bit noisy neighbourhood, people around love random fireworks at the most unconvenient times, mosty after morning 😁

Cosy room with nice garden and ocean view, accomodation is generally located in lovely village (cafee and minimercado included), just in the middle of the Island, everything you want to visit is within easy reach.

I didn't like that our room didn't have bathroom inside, so you had to go out and acces to your private bathroom but it's kind of uncomfortable

There is a kitchen so it's comfortable if you want to cook at home

Being right at the street and ground floor you have no privacy and it's a bit noisy, with the windows open. Once you close the windows it's ok.They offer no toiletries, except toilet paper and it takes a while for the hot water to get to the shower. On the kitchen door is says"keep it closed" but if you do so there the chance you remain locked in as it doesn't work properly. The internet works pretty well- the signal is weak at times. There's no beach access - the closest beach is Praia d'Amoura and it's a steep hike down of over 15 mins. For the other 2 that show up on the map- the access was destroied- a local tried to explain but in portughese.

The property is very clean and you're ocean front and have full ocean view- we stayed in Santa Maria room which is on the ground floor and the bathroom is down the hall. It's close to a great restaurant: Scorpion Cafe and a supermarket where you can find some local products. 2 days into our stay they left us new towels. They were prompt in assisting us with the check-in.

The place looks abandoned, we dont have seen anybody except the cleaners. No one to check in, no one to check out. The main door code was broken when we arrived, anothet traveller had help.us opening the doors ar 9pm, and it has stay broken during all of our trip witjh no other option to open it (khey), so we decide to keep the backdoor key with us and let it open with the agreement of all customers. Fan was broken. The street are so much noisy at night, really difficult to sleep with all those cars practicing rally on the small and slim road under our window, locals speech loudly and some dogs always stay outside and makes noise at night. Ha, another thing, if you expect warm water, you will have to wait at it about three minutes before it comes... Some rooms have an external bathroom, looks really oldy...

Our room was one of two that have a sea view, that was the only good point, cleaning was just normal. It's well deserve on the center and east cost of the island. There is a kitchen and fridge.

The room was quite old and very humid. It was hard to breathe normally in the room. The fan was in the room, but it wasn't working. We have reported it to the host but no solution. The facilities and equipment in the communal area of the house were extremely poor or not existing at all. Some of the equipment are rusty. Problem with the lights in the communal areas (some lights in the 'Sitting zone' doesn't work). In the 'garden' and terrace there is nowhere to sit and there are no tables at all. Awful service, if you have a problem or need anything there is no one available to ask for help Our room wasn't cleaned for week at all!  We were left with 1 toilet paper roll for 2 adults for the whole week!!! And when we asked for extra the host was incredible rude and threatened us with the eviction. Unbelievable experience!  Clean' towels were left outside our room the black rubbish bag!!! It's not €105.0 per night !!! Please avoid this place! It's a scam.

We stayed at the 0 level just in front of the road. When the cars passed our room at night you have a feeling that the car is almost in your room. But we didnt really care, cuz after a long day of hiking we were so tired that the cars doesnt really bother us.

Im wondering why so mamy negative opinions (with my favorite one about toilet wash XD) anyways the property looks exactly like at the photos - its not modern, its not luxury but its definitely value of money. The room and also the common kitchen were always clean. In front of the property there is a big parking lot, the area is really nice and calm - but thats true the roads are pretty „slim” but still two cars can pass each other. Also in the common room you have a washer and dryer (which saved the day after we got totally soked). Nice tarrace at the back of property. The lock was working fine.

1 False Info about the Checking, False number to enter giving (i kept) the written message for proof) 2 No hot water they said, but then no water at all (3 days). I had to wash myself with the toilet water !!! (i send my videos to booking.com) 3 They didn't anwersed my 6 calls and messages (althought i reached somebody the 1rst day for the false code). I had to pass through messages via booking.com for them to respond, because the messages there are registred ! (They proposed me another place (40 kms away), i said ok but they never confirmed !!! 4 So cold i had to borrow 3 more blankets from the othes empty rooms (lucky i was alone ! ... i understand why now) 5 Poor cooker. 45 mn to warm water from the toilet to wash me Just don't go ! I'm 47 and it's the first time in my life i experienced such a place

They let me down, no room and don't answer phone!! Had to find emergency other accommodation on the island which meant driving 30 min, and cost me a lot more last minute. thank goodness I had a car. Booking.com gave me a refund, this place is a scam and the building is filthy. A shame because this part of the island is good but the accomodation is a shambles, they never did get back in touch to apologize for not answering and leaving me with nowhere to stay as a female solo traveller and it was getting late too...

Not even a fan to help with the high temperatures. It was incrediblyhot inside. The checkin instructions were different from reality. I has do call them to discovery my room and the person informed I could take any room. The problemis that certain room have no bathroom in the room and I had paid for a suite. Anyway we managedto find the suite but I wonder what could have happened if someone else would have done the check in before me.

My stay in the apartment in the Azores was amazing! The apartment is furnished, spacious and offers an ocean view. Everything was clean and tidy, which I appreciated very much. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bedroom comfortable. The location is quiet, ideal for relaxation.

I'm not sure if something really can be done about that - but there is a big humidity inside of the rooms if to sleep with the closed windows. So, when we were leaving the room - we were leaving the windows open. Also, if it is possible - would be nice to renew some staff in the common kitchen, like the microwave for example.

I really liked the view from the window, and the room was nice, neat, and clean. Actually, everything that we needed was inside the room, so I guess if you visit the island for travel and you won't spend too much time in the room - it is the perfect place to stay. :) Also the owners were very helpful when we needed to ask something.

The room was far too humid and muggy to be comfortable. We ran the fan and had the window open at all times - which let in a ton of flies.

It was cheaper than other options and the wifi worked without any issues!

The room was quite old and very humid. We had some difficulties to open the door because the door is a little bit crooked. One the floor one parquet board was missing and it was covered by a rug. The common balcony was just outside our room and window, so we were able to hear everything from the other people outside and also even with the window closed the smell of the cigarettes was inside our room.

The old fashion keys & locks were a constant struggle Get rid of them!

We liked the parking. We always had a parking space available across the street. We would have preferred a suite because didn’t like to leave our room to access bathroom.
