The entire building is quite in need of renovation. Although the shower and toilet spaces are small, they could be made much more functional with renovation and the hallway floor absolutely needs to be renovated.

We had pretty low expectations. The room we were in was on the upper floor in the back with a balcony and outside access to the patio. The room was small and in need of major renovation, but was acceptable for a place to sleep, shower, and keep our things while we were out viewing the city. There were ample electrical outlets and a television in the room. The shower was small and the shower wand holder was broken, so the shower wand had to be held during the entire shower. The toilet room was a bit small, and the door opened into the room, which made it difficult to get into and out of. The door needs to be remounted to open outward. The hall definitely needs to have a new floor put in, along with a subfloor. There was carpeting / rug over the middle of the hall floor, but the floor was quite uneven and noisy to walk on. As our room was in the upper back of the building, there were no noise problems. We didn't hear any noises from other guests. The downstairs area was fairly large. The kitchen is well-enough equipped (microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine, etc. The dining area / lounging area was large and comfortable and there was a pleasant outdoor area with garden and seating. All said. I wouldn't stay here again, as the comfort level was too low and the entire building in need of major renovation. It is acceptable as a low-cost option. The staff were friendly and allowed us to store our bags for a couple hours after check-out so that we could see a few things before catching our train.

Nice guest house in the heart of Aveiro. There is a common kitchen where you can prepare your food. The bed was very big and comfortable, but some things (door, bathroom) need more attention

The receptionist was super nice and accomodating, since I came with a heavy luggage, she offered me the GF room instead of the second floor. I really appreciate that! she also had suggestions on what to do and what was going on that day in Aveiro. the location is in the center, walking distance to everything, the bed was super comfy, the room clean, and the garden very calm, just the rest me and my dog needed after a long trip!

I found my recent stay at your property to be satisfactory, however, there was one particular incident that I found to be completely unacceptable. Before the check-out time of 10:30 am, the cleaning lady entered my room without even knocking or seeking permission. I was startled and had to stop her by saying “Hey!” I am disappointed that such an incident could take place in a property that has only 8-10 rooms. It is not difficult to check beforehand if a customer is still in the room or not. This experience left me feeling angry and frustrated. Additionally, on my way out, I noticed a woman staring at me in the corridor, which only added to my discomfort. I hope you can understand my disappointment and take the necessary measures to ensure that such incidents do not happen again in the future.

Check-in… As there was no information given in advance, we were confused when we arrived at the hotel Check-out… there weren’t any staff at the front desk at our check out so we couldn’t ask anything that we wanted to know.

Our room was at the ground floor with one window opening to the street. Having the window open made people look directly inside, giving you no privacy. Having the window closed made the room hot and uncomfortable.

The only window we had in the room was for the stairs inside the hotel, so it was noizy when the other guests are passing by (and it's impossible not to keep it open, I mean you need to breath). For that reason also could be stuffy inside the room.

The room and bathroom were not really spacious, but quite enough. Also you can use common kitchen. Location of the hotel is just perfect, near the historical center, so you can explore the town by foot. The staff was very welcoming and helping, many thanks to them! And the most important one: I honestly had the best bed EVER in this hotel, so comfy! I'd like to come back just to sink in this again :D

my room only had a window opening into the building staircase- no fresh air available. The bathroom also smelled of sewerage and with no window available this was not ideal. not the best value for money compared to other places I have stayed in Portugal. I would not stay again if allocated this room but there may be better rooms in the guesthouse.

The temperature in the room... It was quite cold at night, there is only one small electric heater provided which is not enough to heat the whole room.

We contacted the property about our plans to arrive very late, which was not a problem at all. (On booking it was written check-in between 15h and 00h30) The system with key lockbox that they have is very practical. The info provided by the staff through mail/phone was very helpfull. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice,...

the room was VERY small. unfortunately there was no way to tell that from pictures, and we were too exhausted after journey to fix it. but seriously, I don't remember when last Time I was in such tiny place. I travelled w/ my sister, we both adults, and apart from bed only one of us could stand on the floor at the time. shower is built into the room not like separate room but literally plastic walls around it.

stuff was extra helpful, I really like that, despite 0 knowledge of English =) location great, everything nearly, but not too much so not so touristy)
