The restaurant was pretty average, breakfast was sort of OK - the cooked part of breakfast was decidedly below average. Lots of fruit, bread and pastries which was good. Coffee was very second rate.

The room and pool area were great, the restaurant was pretty average.

Exterior maintenance was poor, with lots of peeling paint. The worse example is the swimming pool where many of the mosaic tiles have come loose. (But at least it was clean.) There was a bit of noise from a night club a couple of blocks away until early hours - didn't keep me awake but might bother light sleepers. There is limited parking on the hotel premises but plenty of parking across the road on a lot owned by the hotel.

The room was decent. The decor is very dated, but was spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable, with several spare pillows and blankets. Continental breakfast was fresh and tasty, although a bit monotonous. Staff were friendly and spoke reasonable amount of English.

Pool is big enough to swim which I loved but I have doubts about the treatment of water. Which I definitely change will be the carpeting on hallways and rooms . The sliding door of the bathroom doesn’t close properly so it is not provide privacy. I would recommend added a table in the balcony.

Location nearby to the beach with direct access. Free private parking. Proper breakfast not many options but correct. I highly recommend booking a room with balcony because of the additional space and views to the ocean.

Old and not renovated. Low quality furnitures in the room with marks and carpet with strains. The water of the pool had awkward taste and you could not open your eyes inside because it was irritating.

A/C didn't really work that great. Slept with the balcony door open as that provided more a/c than the a/c did.

They have lots of bus tour and other groups. So Breakfast and Dinner was chaotic with big groups swarming the Buffets. The quality and selection of the food is just mediocre and not a lot of variety.

The breakfast was a buffet with little attention to detail and mostly to quantity. Meals were no longer cooked to order and frankly were poor.

The hotel was mostly empty when we arrived on Sunday and we loved it. The lunch on Sunday was cooked for us and it was very good.

The hotel carpet was worn and the air conditioner didn't work well.

The breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good.

We stayed on the 12nd floor sea view room. Very small room. Door for the balcony cannot open properly because the curtains are placed to run to the wrong direction. Facilities in the room are very poor. If you need to shave you need to bring an extra light to the bathroom otherwise the light is soo low that you cannot see your face in the mirror. The room doesn't have anything really pleasant/comfortable for a stay longer than 2 nights. Regarding to contact with staff it is always very cold, just one or other staff members are ok and polite. But I recommend you to avoid speaking with a middle age lady at the front desk because she is soo arrogant and inconvenient that she has the talent of making you feel disgusted.

Location and bed. If you spend the most of the time out of the hotel and don't need to speak with anyone, than the location is good for the beach and to access to Porto.

It was quite challenging to have dinner at the restaurant. Although it was nearly empty, we were informed that accommodating a table for 10 people without a reservation would be very difficult.
