We were there for one night to stop over on our way to Porto Airport and spend a day at the beach, for this it was a good location. Very close to the beach, good parking options. The town is nothing special, rather faceless but with pastelarias and restaurants including ones with ocean view and the beach is gorgeous. The room is simple but enough, clean and equipped with cupboards if needed. The bed was more on the soft side. There is a shared kitchen that is in good use but clean, you can help yourself from the coffee which is nice.

Friendly volunteers, great location and a good room with a lot of communal space. Great hostel/backpacker/durver vibe.

We were at the tale end of the season and noticed a few things outside which had worn out over the season hadn't been cleared.

This was a very warm, relaxed and friendly place, with a good kitchen, bathroom and dining space options. It had easy access to the beach and a swimming pool which we enjoyed, as well as table football!

Lots of space, everyone was nice, peaceful and walking distance from the beach, I got to swim in the pool, the dog is so friendly and well behaved, honestly, just great value for only 25€/night!

Nothing at all

The host is amazing and friendly, house itself is totally clean and furnished. The hosts dog is a star of the show though. For all dog lovers it’s a perfect stay. The ocean is close to the house, also parking is available free of charge.

It was cold. No heating in the house. Only small heater for the room. The bathroom and shower not very good (low water pressure and no rail to hang the towels).

Miguel and his pet Marley. Was great to stay in this place. In close neighborhood u can find beatiful basketball court, tennis court and place for workout which is totally free and have its own vibe.

Vagueira house was brilliant and enjoyable. The rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, patio, pool and yard are all exceptionally clean. The staff are very friendly and I had all the privacy I wanted while still bring able to chat with other guests. Miguel was incredibly accommodating. The house has everything you might need and a 2-6 minute walk from grocery stores and the beach(where the sunsets are gorgeous). You're missing out if you don't stay in this spot!

The vibe, the doggie, the owner, would have like the pool but didnt get into the water! Great location!

-pillows were moldy, my partner who is extremely sensitive to mold got a bacterial infection from the room, and was sick for the next week -lack of ventilation -dusty -we booked a double room for privacy but was given a room with no curtains - bathroom was a bit dirty, shower water spilled everywhere so floor was wet -frankly if it’s under renovation it should be closed until it’s ready -I was disappointed at this stay, probably great in the summer being close to the beach. owner seemed nice

The house was very damp. The area where the five bunkbeds were smelt so musty you could hardly breathe. No top sheet on the bed. The person was only there for I think about 10 minutes and that was it and then he was gone again. I felt very uncomfortable there. The two girls that were there with me were very nice
