Sometimes not very functional: in the rooms there are no place to hang towels and the shared kitchen has no stove to cook.

Nice, spacious and quiet room. Great location: on a quiet street but just a few minutes’ walk from the city center. Free parking nearby. Highly recommended.

Lack of window outside, it opens to an indoor terrace, makes hard to get fresh air.

Great location near beach and old town. Very nice design with new furniture. Super friendly host helped us with earlier check in and with very good recommendations for restaurants. Super clean.

There were road works happening which were loud at points at the time of my stay (May 2025) - nothing to do with the hotel though!

Wonderful location, very close to the beach and the town centre, however, far away enough from the noice! Clean room, beach towels were a nice touch; this self check in hotel also has a kitchen with a terrace.

Well, you know about the stairs you just have to deal with it. The morale boosting posters are very cute.. room two was fine for me but could be tight for a couple.

Communication with staff. It was not clear that there is no reception. They demanded personal data (picture of ID) via the booking app. I said I am going to provide this during check-in. But there only was a cleaning lady (very friendly, but did not speak English) who sent pictures of both IDs to some other person via WhatsApp. This is a unacceptable. They also did not ask for the tourist tax of 2€/person/night. The city of Albufeira probably did not like this.

The downside was my room was on the ground floor facing the street, which was noisy day and night. So, if you need a quiet space, try to avoid room 7 or any ground floor rooms facing the street.

I really liked the room! It had new furniture, a comfy mattress, and the air conditioning was great. Everything was really nice.

I asked for new towels and paper toilet after two days but I didn't get them.... I was forced to buy toilet paper at the supermarket. Bathroom was tiny and the towels must be hang at the door.

I informed the staff before arriving that 2 of us had walking difficulties and therefore would prefer two downstairs rooms, which they kindly gave us. However they should have informed us at that point that the road and paths which the hostal was on was in the process of being dug up, making it very difficult to walk on and it did cause problems. We could have found a different place to stay had we been informed. I would say that road will take at least the next 6 months to complete, so if you have walking difficulties look for something else. It is also uphill from the beach.

Noise from the neighbors.
