Hard bed. There was a lot of drunk and high people on the street.

In the mornings, there can be some noise as she cleans the rooms. Also, when I arrived early in the morning, the room wasn’t ready yet — but it wasn’t a problem for me.

Lady was a lovely and thoughtful host. I stayed two nights — one before going to Flores and one after — and everything went really well. Even though she doesn’t speak English, we communicated easily in Portuguese and Spanish. She explained everything clearly, let me leave some of my things so I wouldn’t have to carry so much, and even offered me soup one night. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. I truly felt welcomed and like home

Completely my fault - when booking, I didn't realise that it was going to be a room in a flat, not a room in a hotel.

Close to the airport. No breakfast. I arrived by taxi from the airport after midnight, but easily found the house and apartment, thanks to the precise instructions of the owner. Despite the late hour, she was waiting for me, showed me where the amenities were and led me to my room with a comfortable large bed and a bottle of water on the nightstand next to it, which was very thoughtful. The apartment is spotlessly clean, with a beautiful living room. I'm not sure if I would like to stay there for a long time, but for one night it was a very good choice, and the price was quite reasonable. Even though the owner does not speak English, and I do not speak Portuguese, we were able to communicate without any problems. Thank you, Maria!

The location was close to downtown. The room and apartment were well maintained and very clean. The grandma who lives in the apartment is extremely welcoming, very sweet and tries to help as much as she can. Room was comfortable. All included!

We really had a good stay there, the room was clean, the location is very good and the lady there was so sweet. Even she could not speak English, she was very nice and kind and also helped us cook one time. I would recommend it!

I was missing some kind of shades or curtains in the room. The street light is very bright and was shining directly to the room during the night. The bathroom door was very loud.

Quiet and convenient. The landlady is very hospitable. We enjoyed our stay very much. Walking distance to downtown is about 20 minutes. Safe and friendly people overall. Hope the weather be better next time we go.

there were a few homeless people seen around this Place. it was not sketchy tho.

this is an actual local apartment room where old madame lives. she couldn't speak English at all, but I was able to feel her warm heart. you might need to try some body language if you can't speak Portuguese(or just use translator). overall place was very clean and comfy. you know, granma always keep places clean, right?

Nothing really, you’re staying in Maria’s apartment, renting a room with availability of kitchen and bathroom.

Parking was adequate, Madam Maria is wonderful. Doesn’t speak any english but we tried to converse. She will treat you like your Grandma. She had soup on the stove when I came home from daily outings. Kitchen and bathroom availability was great. Room comfortable. She did laundry for me and I insisted on paying her a bit for her work. Everything was always clean.

Everything was great. The place is just 5 minutes by car from the airport, a taxi costs 10 €. The room was comfortable, clean, there were water and cookies waiting for us. The kitchen looked well equipped, but we didn't use it much.

It’s great for a night close to airport. Not sure the location is too good in terms of close to anything. Shared bathroom is between 3 rooms and no other toilet.

Great for an overnight stop, close to the airport. All instructions on codes for main door and apartment are sent and easy to follow and get in. Kitchen with fridge also in apartment. Good shower.

Noisy (close to the airport and near a busy road)..

A no-thrills, functional place near the Porta Delgada airport. Not exactly walking distence, but 5 minutes with taxi (11Eur). The place is simple, the guest is helpful. Good WIFI coverage.

The Hosts Maria and Mário are such a stars! They were super helpful since the beginning and during the stay. Maria lives in the apartment and is always up to help, talk and advise on the best of the island. Actually she even gave us some delights she made during the period. 10/10!
